In case you didn't notice, public indexing sites
are being taken down, we need to come up with
an effective countermeasure.
For now share what you have streaming for
those of us that are constantly up/downloading
so we get something good.
For the greater issue, I think making some sort
of independent blockchain-like indexing service
would be a good way to prevent the man from
taking down the internets.
Is anybody any wiser?

And most of the oscar movies, except maybe bridge of spies and trumbo.
Warez the thread everyone

DHT don't work for me.
Everything just stays there at 0 peers.
>>703001
Don't know how if it's a factor but I should
mention that I use a non-free ISP that
blocks any and all ports, what I guess
could be a potential issue here.
What are magnets and private trackers for 200$, Alex.
>>703019
A useful feature for when the tracker is down and a bunch of shady cunts who have probably sold you out already respectively.
>>703003
>>703001
Reporting back in, actually it werks after I've left
a stream run overnight. I don't know exactly
how long it took but peers were found over DHT.
>>703019
I'm talking about an independent indexing service
that isn't susceptible to Hollywoo. Something like
a distributed web service that doesn't depend on
one point, much like DHT.
Keep in mind that the moment the onion ring or i2p
masterserver go down the rest of the service is null'd.
>>702951
keep putting them back up
they'll get tired eventually
on a somewhat related note, I've been at uni for the past couple years and haven't torrented since I left. I have an extensive list of things I need to download and I won't be able to until I come back in the summer, but what site do people use now to look up torrents? TPB was always my go-to but I've heard some fishy things about them. I'm in the US btw
i heard pirate bay is good now that you need tor brouser
>>705254
we can't let them push us off of surface web to tor.
>>703000
could someone explain what warez means?
>>706367
He's saying the thread is weeks old, warez it gone?
>>706367
Cracked or otherwise stolen software which is licensed in this Region.

Seriously guys, you don't need countermeasures. These sites have been going up and down for years. You're fine.
One site goes down, you'll find another one in Google that would eventually take the other site's place as #1. All sites go down in this magical fairy dimension where people would actually allow it to happen? You'd have other options. You will always have options.
File sharing is as easy as linking to a magnet link these days.
>>702951
This isn't new, sites last 6 months at most.
