While the torrent provided in last years Cartoon Thread, the same one here, was better than the collection I previously had its still missing a large number of episodes in Seasons 3-5.

Did not really realize this show was pointed at girls, just assumed it had a female protagonist.
I can kinda see it now, but it wasn't as hormonal as shows like "As told by Ginger" or "Clarissa Explains it all" so I enjoyed it thoroughly. Not to say that I didn't enjoy those other shows, but I would drop what I was doing to watch pepper ann while the others may have been skipped over for more preferable content.

I havn't watched Pepper Ann. the blonde IS the cutest. And as an animation student and a 90's kid i can definitely say we didn't care for shows that had female protagonists and i think the lack of internet made it so that cartoon shows appealed to many people including boys and girls. i can give a number of examples of shows like Daria, Arthur, or non cartoon like Nikita or wishobone who had an appeal to everyone, even with female or dog protagonists. A good animation show appeals to everyone cos it tells an interesting story we all want to see and we can relate. Unless an animation show has a really heavy agenda there's no good reason an animation show should be aimed only at girls and there are very few such shows. most shows appeal to everyone cos that way it gets more viewers, and more money via merchandise. Animation isn't cheap or easy to make so it's not wise to make it "only for boys/girls".

It should be a crime to not release beloved shows like this on some sort of home media.
Thankfully nowadays we have streams and downloads that get recorded most of the time, but since pepper ann was made way back in the dial up days, and there was no official box set release, then there's not much hope.

Some episodes are formatted wrong, others are not in English, the quality go's from stunning to just bearable, but it's the closest thing we have to a complete collection. Disney have not (to my knowledge) released this show on dvd and god knows when it was last on tv!

I downloaded the files from Mega and created a torrent. My upload is not great (9Mb/s) and I can't be uploading all day (I do have to turn off my pc at some point), but I will be seeding this like a son of a bitch!

Daria Restoration Project

For those unaware, the DVD release of Daria has most of the pop music MTV used in scene changes and closing credits replaced with stock music because they couldn't get the rights. This fan project took the DVD-quality video and painstakingly edited the deleted music back in, providing the only true way to rewatch the show as intended.

I always really liked this show. Recently re-watched most of it as an adult and it still holds up. Most of the scenarios are really amusing, even now (I'm a guy, btw).

Some of my favorite episodes:

>S02E10 - April's Fools

and my personal favorite:

This is probably one of the best-written episodes of any western animated series. Really impressive and worth watching, even if you don't really care about the series.

AS for the torrent link that was back in 2007 so more that likly it's dead and luck for me I saw the all the episodes back in the late 90's early 2000's, the only episodes I did not see was about 8-9 ep of season 1 .Also it was on re-run in 2007 & that could explain why some are in better quality than others.

A quick google search and it looks like it's a private tracker so the magnet is prolly hidden or flagged as private and the only way to upload it to someone without a myspleen account is for a really cool anon who's already signed up for myspleen to download it and create a new torrent with public trackers
or if myspleen doesn't block ip addresses, the same really cool anon who downloaded the torrent could upload a .torrent file to mega and share it that way, but more than likely they'll only upload to the ip of the anon who signed up for the myspleen account.
