Yeah I liked Ippo until I watched Joe, I loved how Joe's boxing style evoled through the story, being a one trick pony at first, then moving to being a more complete boxer.

Ippo at the other hand is exactly the same he was decades ago, he still is the underdog on his fights even when his opponents are way below his league, still insecure of himself, still can't close a match even thought the hit like a truck.
