While I have the utmost respect for Brett Lee as a skilful fast bowler - He in my opinion is a cricketing thug - Why have I arrived at this conclusion?
As he has bowled the most deliberate beamers in his attempts to maim batsmen of any bowler I have ever seen.

How does anyone who even has a remote knowledge of Cricket come to this conclusion?
Lee claims every beamer he bowled was an accident and it slipped out of his hand.

That's fair enough until you realise in that the hundreds of games he has played for Australia-He has never been removed from the attack for bowling two beamers in one innings.

I did a bit of reading on this once

Americans sound the way they do because of a combination of the irish accent and an older english accent
the Australian accent was almost immediate with the first generation born here and was basically a combination of accents all over the British Isles plus a little bit of an abo influence
the South African accent is obviously what happens when you leave a bunch of Dutch alone in Africa for a couple of centuries
