>>78193446
Don't think we're not all paranoid that'll happen!
Cmon Schoop, do the thing
Not watching the game but no doubt its a packed house tonight in anticipation for #18. We all know Cleveland fans to be the most loyal and passionate sports fans in America.
That'll be 18 wins plus tip
Let's go WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWindians!
>RISP
Bullet dodged.

>>78193724
>SC not top 10 theme plays in the distance
i-i miss you edwin T__T
>it all comes down to bauers autism tonight
Post yfw you realize that Bauer carefully orchestrates every at bat to infuse the perfect amount of Drama into the game
Do people actually watch random neutral-team games on ESPN? Who would want to do that?
HEY GANG! UNCLE REEZO HERE! I JUST WANTED TO THANK MY GUYS, BILL AND MIKE, OVER AT UNIVERSAL WINDOWS DIRECT! THEY DID A GREAT JOB GIVING PEOPLE FREE WINDOWS, EVEN IF THEY DID TAKE OUT AN INSURANCE POLICY ON IT. SPEAKING OF FREE WINDOWS AND INSURANCE POLICIES, IF YOU'RE GOING TO THROW YOUR WIFE THROUGH A WINDOW, MAKE SURE YOU GET INSURANCE ON IT! THE LAST THING YOU WANT AFTER PESKY COURT COSTS IS GETTING NEW WINDOWS! GET THE INSURANCE! TELL BILL AND MIKE THAT UNCLE REEZO SENT YA!
>>78194069
Some people are just fans of the game, I guess. I don't fully understand it, myself.
>>78194096
He got old really fast didn't he have cancer or something?
>>78194060
Being a Cleveland sports fan is inherently dramatic enough, I don't need Drone Boy to add any more.

this chick announcer annoys me.

>querÃas (what would you do?) intensifies

>strikes him out with a fastball right down the middle
I think bauer got in his head
Kek at Bauer walking to the dugout with his head down. Machado was saying "you got me," but I think someone had a few words with Bauer about interacting with the batters after a strikeout.
>ESPN
>I don't get to hear the emphatic "AND HE STRUCK EEM OUT"

I think Bauer is gonna be all right tonight...just get him some run support...
>>78194987
He should be the scoreboard prompt for applause
Hellickson really settled down. Gonna be a close one tonight.
talk about hittin one into the shit
This feels like a night we let Bautism go as long as he wants
>>78195489
Yeah he's got the curve locked in
Is there a better rotation in the league than the Indians?
>>78195489
>yfw 187 pitch complete game
>>78195627
I actually think he shouldn't have a strict pitch count I think he's durable enough for something crazy like that bc of his conditioning
>>78194277
If the wind hadn't been blowing in tonight...
>>78195685
muh warmups!
>15 outs in a row

The hell you doing watching this? We're ohioans! Football state. And a great game is on NBC.
>>78196013
>watching ANOTHER nfc east game on sunday night football
or you could watch your boreball team meme on their entire sport by inexplicably winning over and over and over
There we fucking go
>>78196013
Neutral who like both sports. Choosing to watch this game to see of the Indians can keep it up.
ROBERTO!!!!!!!

>Indians winning
Did the indians manage to at least draw over 20k fans for this game?
Or was there a LeBron convention to go to?
>>78196123
That dinger aside, Hellickson is pitching incredibly well. Is he usually this good?
>>78196420
Eh, kinda mediocre like most of our guys that aren't Dylan Bundy. They have their good nights like this, they have shitshows like his last start vs the Yaks
BACK TO BACK!
Let's fucking go!
*BLOCKS YOUR COMEBACK*

>>78196405
they drew 30k yesterday. Probably better than the >browns did
streak aside, it would be a lot better to face the WC in the first round than face Boston.
This cap makes me sick. 18 in a row and it's not even a sell out. Barely 80 posts. Indians "fans" don't deserve this team. If the Red sox were on such a streak fans would be killing themselves to watch.
JUST DINGERS
>mfw Dingers

My wife's son just asked me why the Indians have low attendance the last few year.
Great and now he's totally gassed.
Lucky on that out.
>>78196533
people just don't like going to downtown Cleveland at night except on the weekend. If you feel like watching the Indians you go to a bar or you invite friends over or something else instead. Cleveland has no neighborhoods near downtown except the ghetto so it's a long commute to get home afterward and people don't wanna be up late if they have work the next day
rare wahoo please no save
>>78196755
Isn't the cavs arena right next door? How come the cavs always sell out?
DAVIS DID A THING
>>78196851
because they are a champion-caliber team every year that LeBron is playing.
The Tribe used to do that in the '90s. It has taken 15 years since Jacobs sold them for fans to start forgiving the new owner for dismantling that team.
>>78196851
because 20k in basketball is a sellout, dumbass
>2 pitch
>2 out
Well, that was a thing.
Indians will win
>>78196814
I saved it
>>78196952
Don't try to spin it. Ive seen cavs game where they cut to the outside and you thousands of people milling around. If the arena could hold 40k, the cavs would still sell out.
Indians vs dodgers world series

Ok here are some reasons
1) Crowds outside is a playoff game thing, not every game in January and February has that
2) There are half as many games and they don't play everyday, you can't be choosy and wait to go on a Friday or whatever.
3) Indians division is full of shitty boring teams, you're not seeing the schedule and saying wow I wanna see them play THAT team
4) Baseball is less star-driven than basketball. No one is going to a game to see this or that player like they would in the NBA
5) The Cavs currently have one of the 5 best players of all time on their team, one of the biggest stars in all of sports
6) The Indians front office from 2004-ish until 2 years ago kept repeatedly trading any player who became good, which killed fan interest in the team and made everyone adopt a wait-and-see attitude (aka fairweather)
7) Baseball is an inferior sport to basketball and Cleveland has good taste
>>78197335
>7) Baseball is an inferior sport to basketball and Cleveland has good taste
>>78197335
Learn to control the 'tism. Learn to enjoy the game.
Older fans kept coming despite the fact that they didn't win it all but stopped coming when they blamed the owners for mismanaging the team, meanwhile Cleveland and Northeast Ohio got poorer and less populated. This isn't rocket science, it's one of the bottom markets in population and purchasing power. Now shut up.
>>78197401
Definitely got me thinking.
>Cleveland got especially enthusiastic about a team carried by a home product that could have and did break the "curse".
Crazy
Really hope they can keep Santana this offseason.
Win or lose, more importantly it's been a well played game, good sign.
>>78197602
He's earned it, but they'll have to wrestle with the question of "does he keep it up"?
Shaw who?
>>78197607
Yeah, other than the first inning with that spaghetti its been pretty amiable so far. Both teams definetly earning the win, whoever gets it
Couldn't even see the first pitch because ESPN is awful. Why do they keep using that behind the ump camera?
I like this cartoony Tito but he's got a few more popsicles in him than the pic implies desu
>>78197710
Yeah I'm okay with losing it though a blown save at this point would burn a bit.
What's the O's immediate future looking like?
Well we've had some luck with closers blowing saves
>injuns win
> pissboi's butthurt rages on for another day

Ask gsw
Only watched my first game of baseball a few hours ago (Dodgers vs Rockies), but I'm already such an expert that I have a 100% winning betting record.
Thanks for the info guys. Gonna be a millionaire by the end of the month.
>>78198298
Oh yeah I forgot you went in on this. This was closer than it should've been, gotta be real careful with baseball.
>>78198402
Yeah it was quite close, but the Indians seemed in control.
I bet less than I won on the Sky Blue vs Washington Spirit and Boston Breakers vs Portland Thorns games before though, so I would've still been up if I'd lost.
>>78198277
Did you just become an Indians fan this year?
Go Tribe!
>>78198402
Actually, just realised that the fact that it was close is relevant. I should thank >>78192925 for telling me just to back the Indians outright, not to bet on a handicap.
>>78198221
It wasn't even a choke job. They had like two and a half pitchers for the series.
