Oh definitely. I've got quite a bit of family and friends in the Holy Cross congregation, and it's nowhere near as bad as the jesuits are. The focus on "not forming the mind at the expenses of the heart" helps ensure that ND won't fall prey to the same problems that ruin places like many jesuit schools. Frankly, my issue with Jenkins is more that he seems so fake, like when he spoke about DACA. He doesn't seem to really care, it comes across to me as if he's doing it for approval.
