Snowball to amateur sports. If pros roid, amateurs hoping to become pros must roid. Amateurs hoping to become pros are, especially in America but elsewhere as well, young people barely out of, or in most cases in, school. Barely a percent of those make it. It is not in the interest of society for people to needlessly put their health at their risk for nothing. If sports were a closed society where only those born into it could participate, steroid use would indeed not be a problem.
