Even fucking Sunderland had the means to compete in CL, and since the big two aren't in EL, whatever EPL team is in, has no excuse not to win it unless they are up against another one, yet only the biggest clubs managed it. Germany did badly there due our league being weak thanks to Buyern treating it as an all you can eat buffet but at least they don't embarrass themselves in CL as English clubs did in the last five years (despite having similar resources) and Dortmund is constantly doing pretty well. It got so much hype in magazines, it made my imagination run wild with what I could do with it. I assembled a little squad with my m8s, ready for launch. Then it got pushed back about a year.
