Roberston should be closer. People have figured out that the way to beat Betances is to not swing at his pitches, because he'll just walk you. A curveball is also completely fucking useless if you don't have a good fastball to keep the batters on their toes. Betances is literally never confident in his fastball, and will sometimes go entire outings without throwing it. I'm not saying David Robertson is perfect. Mariano Rivera has 80 blown saves in his career, including a loss in Game 7 of the World Series. Those don't mean he isn't an effective reliever. Your examples don't make Robertson any less effective of a reliever either. He has a 2.1 WAR this season. He's having a pretty good year.

That club house is going to be missed and grateful for all of my teammates in chicago. A lot of unbelievable talent in that club house and it's going to be one hell of a team within the next year.
