This series would be so much more awesome if instead of stages, they had 4 mandatory green flag pitstops at predetermined points in the race.

Here's how it would work:
They'd start the race with an empty truck, but during those pitstops, the pitcrew would have to race to hand load and securely strap down a couch in the back of the truck.
But here's where it's clever!
You'd have four identical looking couches that weighed 100lb, 200lb, 300lb, and a heavy bastard that weighed 500lb.
The teams would be able to choose what couch they loaded at which pitstop.
Obviously this would affect their pace relative to other trucks, making it an enthralling couch-based tactical battle.

You can't deny this would be the most exciting and entertaining racing category motorsport has ever seen.
