No, he's actually very good. He is overhyped though. Reminds me a bit of Raheem Sterling at the age of 18, only Pulisic is starting for a team much better than Liverpool were in 2014. At his age and from what he has shown for both Dortmund and the USMNT, he has real potential. If he were to plateau right now, he has a chance to be considered the best American ever. I'd say the real upside is that he appears to be confident as well as talented. He can dribble, run, pass, and score quite well already. He isn't afraid to attack and he often picks the right pass or shot in the moment.

As an American, there is definitely overhype, but it doesn't mean he's trash. Just be patient. This next world cup could be a showcase for him.
