Reduce the number of teams from 30 to 15 and have each team play each team twice, resulting in the regular season being reduced from 82 games to 30 games. Remove conferences, remove draft lottery, top 10 teams make the playoffs and bottom 5 teams get the top 5 picks guaranteed.

Parity fixed, shallow talent pool fixed, conference inequality fixed, player resting fixed, boring regular season fixed, potential for rigging the draft fixed.

Then bring back hand checking and let the players play tough defense.

Honestly I don't think it's possible to fix the NBA

it is so fucking god awful that they would need to lockout for a few years and overhaul the entire cesspool top to bottom to have a chance at rectifying it

Some actual non meme answers would be:
>Pass a rule against players taking huge pay cuts to join stacked teams.
Just have the analytics guys whip up some objective formula to determine player value, and ban players from signing for less than like 80% of their yearly value.
