I personally prefer two defensive midfielders, and wind backs that can leave the cave and reinforce the midfield pressure on the other team´s midfield if needed, so the two centerbacks must be able to take care of the wings if neccesary, and the two midfielders can be stoppers too. Then wingers must be able to play as midfielders making diagonal movements, being the playmaker allowed to be anywhere he wants, and the striker always on line with the defense line, keen and eager to take their back and profit from any ball in the last third of the pitch.

The correct numbering for the defenders should be from right to left 2-3-4-5
You also used the inferior version of the 433, with a defensive midfielder. Instead you should've used the more aggressive 4213, with the #4 moving up to midfield in attack in order to make a 3313 the best formation ever created *tips*

Just basic logics and a bit of practical experience. Lines are a meme, and depending on the game players must be able to at least cover two different position in the pitch, do different things and swap positions with their team mates.
Wings must be under control at all times, and midfield power is a must. I personally prefer high and strong players in the midfield, able to win 80% of high balls and split balls too.
