today his heat map was all over the pitch, literally, yet his only good contributions are in the last third of the pitch. He's a great goal scorer, take advantage of that instead of giving him 'full freedom' to waste his energy and time.

those are in defensive phase and I'm talking about his offensive phase, when the team has the ball and he is free to roam all around without much sense nor impact in the game

he needs to stay up and let the midfield do their job and bring the ball to him. He is not a good midfielder, he has no idea of doing their job, so it's mostly a waste of time when he drops deep
