Both of my teams so far. Both are 10 team, left is 0.2 ppr & 0.1 point per carry, right is 0.5 ppr.

I feel 8/10 for both but I need to seek WR depth.

Your first team RB situation just seems unfair, second team seems more balanced, agree though both could use more WR depth.

For what its worth, Aaron Rodgers went 1-01 in the league with the team on the right. Christ that guy doesn't know fantasy.

I usually go RB heavy because of their turnover I just hope it doesn't fuck me this season.

I wish you had your own containment board like what WWE got.

>>77866234
I'm always concerned when I see a top 3 QB. what round did he draft him at? Otherwise the team is not bad, perhaps shallow at WR, something I have experience with.
>>
>>77866332
Think he got him in the 4th, or very early 5th, I tried to convince him to get a better WR instead of Garcon but what do, suggested he get Cooper Kupp.

Sorry for being an embarrassing newbie, but how am I going to manage my team? Do I have to use a specific website/app (like CBS Sports Fantasy) to join the National League Autism?
>>
>>77867618
On your phone you can use the app, NFL/ESPN, or online go to their website and do it like that. It's pretty simple. Yes you have to make an account though.
>>
>>77867062

Nah, unless I can get Rodgers in R3, Brady in R4 or Brees in R5, I'm just waiting for R9/10 to snatch the one among Winston/Prescott/Stafford... that's free
>>
Need a team name, /sp/. The more offensive, the better. I really want to outdo my 2012 team name, "Ochocinco is my SLAVE NAME".

Only restriction is that it needs to have something to do with an NFL news item or scandal.

Im picking 5th in mine bros. 10 man standard. Its looking like i'm going to take OBJ 5th overall. Who should I target at 16? I don't like the looks of the second round at all. Not big on Dez or TY this year.
>>
>drafting before the preseason has ended
Goddamn retards.
>>
>>77871752
ur a fag if your team name doesn't relate to your team, wait till after the draft before you decide on a name
>>
Hey all, any initial thoughts on the team I put together in my auction league yesterday? We're a bunch of guys who still stayed friends after high school and we're all Pat's homers. (8-man, standard scoring)

Team name: Fight Fournette Neutrality

QB - Mariota: $1
QB - Matt Ryan: $12
RB - Jay Ajayi: $41
RB - Fournette: $30
RB - Dalvin Cook: $17
RB - Crowell: $23
RB - LeGarrette Blount: $1
WR - Terrelle Pryor: $16
WR - Davante Adams: $5
WR - Eric Decker: $1
WR - Chris Hogan: $1
WR - DeAndre Hopkins: $16
TE - Jordan Reed: $19
TE - Jimmy Graham: $12
K - Matt Bryant: $1
D/ST - Chiefs: $1

I know I'm a little light on WRs but I think that's a small price to pay and depending on how things shake up for NE, Hogan could end up putting in some solid work, and Hopkins may have a breakout year with Watson throwing to him and not Trashweiler
>>
>>77878543
that's an 8 man team? You're going to get destroyed dude
none of your RBs have good Olines
besides adams your WRs all play in trash offenses and Hogan is a #3 guy at best with the pats. I don't know why you decided to pay for 2 TEs either. Your QBs are okay but Ryan is due for regression
4/10 is the best I can give you
>>

14KB, 292x511px
12 man PPR
Had the 9th pick in the draft.
>>
>>77878773
I paid for two TEs because one of them is Jordan Reed, lmfao. and at the price I got for Graham, I'm really not disappointed at all.

I wasn't willing to pay what the big RBs went for in my draft. One dude paid 73 for DJ and two nominations later, someone paid 76 for Bell. Zeke went for 43 even with the suspension. I figured I'd get a lot more value by going with value drafting instead because there wasn't any way I could reasonably get anything better.
>>
>>77879210
Try to trade one of your TEs for a good WR2
Also you have to overpay for top RBs, it sucks but it really is the way to win
Value drafting gets you a strong bench but no strong starters
>>
>>77879194
I think Zeke and mcf are good value
I like your WRs
I like your TE
I think Hill is due for some regression
Jimmy G is lol, same with Agholor
overall 7/10
>>
>>77878773
>muh olines

2016 Jordan Howard says hi
>>
>>77879381
Olines are typically responsible for at least half of a RBs yards. Dismiss them at your own risk
>>
>>77879367
Banking on the Madden Curse and I'm a Pats homer.
What I really wanted was to pick up the Chiefs D/ST and double dip on any returns for touchdowns. That didn't work out though.
Agholor is just my good luck charm. I've been in the positive money wise for the past two years with Agholor on my squad.

RB Kareem Hunt
WR Jordan Howard

Yah it's called do the fucking research. Do mock drafts, evaluate them, then do more. In a live draft no one can tell you who the guy before or after are going to pick. The onus is on you to determine what players to target.

That being said, I like Brett kolmans breakdowns on individual players. He also does solid draft strategy in a few vids as well.

so I grabbed Blount and Marvin Jones at the end of my auction draft yesterday for a buck each. I went back and checked the available players list to find that Chris Hogan is actually still available. First draft of the season, had some rust to shake off. Would have preferred another guy around the Jordan Howard level at RB2, but overall I like the team alright. Not very flashy. Currently have a claim for Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Charles for the last bench slot.

12 team 0.5 PPR
>>
>>77900883
Lmao trash
>>
10 team PPR
I think this is one of my worst drafts ever. My running backs in particular are piss poor.

QB: Kirk Cousns
RB: Todd Gurley
RB: Carlos Hyde (worst pick of my draft for sure)
WR: Antonio Brown
WR: Dez Bryant
TE: Eric Ebron
FLX: DaVante Adams
DST: Patriots
K: Wil Lutz

BENCH
RB CJ Anderson
RB Dalvin Cook
RB Joe Mixon
RB Duke Johnson
RB Darren McFadden
WR John Brown
WR DeVante Parker

I originally had Donte Moncrief and Corey Coleman, but I dropped Coleman for McFadden after Zeke's suspension and Moncrief for Parker after it became clear that Luck is kill
>>
My starting RBs are
>Mark Ingram
>Ty Montgomery

C.J. Anderson is on my bench. Do you think I should drop any of these guys to pick up Jamaal Charles just in case CJ blows like he is known to.

>Jamaal Williams - handcuff to Ty who I dont imagine will hold up
>Eric Ebron - my starter is Eifert but I have durability concerns
>Robby Anderson - WR1 for the worst offense
>Kenny Golladay - speculative
>>
>>77901176
>Jamaal Williams - handcuff to Ty who I dont imagine will hold up
You should only get handcuffs if you know they're starters with the main back gone. Jamaal Williams is not a proven handcuff yet. Not like DeAngelo Williams, Darren McFadden, Charles Sims, etc.

That said, Jamaal charles isn't really worth picking up as a cuff either. His career is finished. I would drop Williams for a lottery ticket type of player, but if you absolutely must, I'd take Charles out of who you listed. Ebron isn't exactly a durable guy himself.

How many players in your league?
>>
>>77901265
12 .5ppr

I have Brees and the best WRs.

RB is a concern and Charles got 42 yards on 4 carries and 2 catches. He's always been an excellent pass catching back which could be a factor in my mind
>>
>>77901003
Could be worse I guess. I like your WRs a lot, especially for PPR, even Parker. I'm not a big John Brown fan, but he'll be serviceable. Might want to see after a week or two which RBs aren't producing and get another wideout for depth (or simply after week 6 when you probably won't need McFadden anymore)

I don't like Hyde, but Gurley could move closer to the mean (in both directions) than he was his first two seasons. One of Cook or Mixon could turn out to be starter-quality and Duke is supposed to be a good PPR depth piece.

It's not a 10/10 team by any means, but if that is your worst draft in awhile I think you have the skill to fix it if it goes to shit.
>>

>>
>>77901346
I'd definitely pick up Charles if it's .5 PPR. Even if CJ doesn't go down/lose the job Charles will probably be a borderline flex option.

I picked up Luck late in the 12th round as trade bait in a few weeks, not planning on keeping him.
>>
>>77902100
bet you can slut
Your WR department is bad, along with the depth, decent RB's but Mcfadden/Burk being your bench/depth makes you fucked, and you have 2 TE's instead of depth at either RB/WR so yeah, this team kinda sucks, you're fucked if any starter dies.
>>
>>77902123
Fair enough, that's decent then
>>
>>77902100
Assuming this is a 10 or 12 man league, if you have a miracle and zero of your starters get hurt, you may sneak into the playoffs. Your bench is absolute garbage though. Should have picked up another receiver or running back in place of Dak and Doyle. I'd also stay away from colts players entirely with Luck out (I say this as a colts fan). I'd get some trades in the works to add depth at WR and RB or else you're fucked.
>>
>>77902127
my draft group went hard on WR, first two rounds only 3 players chose RBs. There were about 4 people autodrafting but even by round 4 we were scraping the bottom of the barrel for WRs. Hoping to trade a TE for a solid WR since there was so much autodrafting some people have really shit TEs. regardless, Snead and dez are gonna have big years so I'm not super worried esp since I can flex McFadden for the first couple of weeks
>>
>>77902216
10 man. And that's exactly why I snagged Dak and Doyle actually

Christ the RBs on the right team

You'll be fine. You can always find a fill-in WR. Between Allen, Robinson, and Hill, one of them should be okay, and then you're basically just streaming your WR2 if the other two bust. Should be able to swing some trades as well if other teams are strong at WR and weak at RB.

As for your left team, looks pretty average, not great not bad. Would probably look better had you waited longer for a TE, but I understand wanting one of the good ones.

Im in a dynasty league. Which 2 players would you keep?

Brandon Marshall
Sammy Watkins
Mark Ingram
Doug Martin
Jimmy Graham
Eddie Lacy
Ameer Abdullah
>>
>>77909376
Ingram and Martin.

Ingram, while a timeshare with Peterson and Kamara, is still in his prime and Peterson wont be there long. Kamara is a risk to him but depending how he develops, could just be a 3rd down back.

Martin is going to be a RB1 for at least another 3 years especially with TB on the rise on both sides of the ball. I've got them projected to make the playoffs and push ATL for the South. Part of that plan has Martin as their feature back.
>>
>>77909430
what are your thoughts on B Marsh and Sammy this year?
>>
>>77909452
Marshall should be a WR2 at best, at worst he will put up around 700 yards & 4 TDs. A lot of it hinges on his ability to adopt a new playbook, his age (which was evident last season), and Eli's play which hasn't been great judging from last season. While I like him being drafted as a WR2 I'm nervous about his first year with a new team.

I was really high on Watkins coming into this season especially with his 2nd foot surgery to correct the damage after the 1st. The reports on him were stellar and he looked good with BUF. However since the trade, he was severely downgraded at QB. Taylor throws a much better deep ball than Goff. Unfortunately thats where Watkins shines. I like him as a bench stash until we find out how he will be used in LAR

A side note about Watkins is that his arrival increases my faith in Gurley. Teams will have to respect the deep threat they have in Watkins so they can't stack the box. Gurley will be a low end RB1 this season.
>>
>>77909485
thanks man, since I have you here. I got a dynasty draft coming. Dalvin Cook or Christian Mcaffrey?
>>
>>77909544
Now that's a tough one because both are going to be good. Cook is in a better situation RIGHT NOW, but McCaffery is incredibly talented. Seriously, watch his highlights at Stanford. Anyway what scoring format? McCaffery is used more frequently in the passing game so he has potential to be a 3 down back.

I'd say McCaffery but by a slim margin, both are good choices.

>>
>>77913121

Not good, remember Brady's legal issues began early into the offseason and he had months to prepare both an appeal to the league and time to sue the NFL for a temporary injunction

>>
>>77913142
>>77913191

Yeah really. I mean don't get me wrong. It is far more likely that Zeke will end up having some sort of suspension. The issue however, is that it might end up biting him in the ass later in the season. Like around fantasy playoffs time.

>>77913191
The league isn't punishing him for the St. Paddys day incident. Didn't they say they were dropping that and the club incident in their report? Pretty sure they did. That the St. Paddys day incident just helped them come to the conclusion that he should be suspended.
>>

This sounds like something I would have said my first year playing fantasy. I hope you're new. There are always guys who you can get in the 6th-9th rounds who end up becoming studs. Melvin Gordon was a 7th-8th rounder last year. If you're going to draft two QBs the second one better be round 11 or later. Hell, that's when most good players draft their *only* QB. When you already have an elite QB like Ryan, drafting a backup QB in the 7th is just silly and you're cheating yourself out of depth at positions that need it more.
>>
Three drafts next week, where does it seem like Kareem Hunt is going now that Ware is ded?

12-team non-PPR, +5 for every 100yds rush/rec or 300yds passing

Some people are being mongo, some people took 2 QBs by round 8. We are finishing tomorrow

2ND PICK:
2) David Johnson
23) Dez Bryant
26) Amari Cooper
47) Dalvin Cook
50) Kelvin Benjamin
71) Carlos Hyde
74) Frank Gore
95) Jamison Crowder
98) Matthew Stafford

Pick one.
>>
>>77915072
Not a fan of your running backs after your top two, Gore will get pushed for carries by Marlon Mack and Hyde is always overrated for fantasy purposes imo. As for receivers I feel like Benjamin is overhyped to hell and back, but looks good otherwise. I'd normally wait later for a QB but it sounds like your hand was forced with people drafting QBs insanely quickly, so Stafford in the 9th is decent all things considered.
>>
Cooks and Pryor for Nelson?
>>
>>77907337
Given that our meth-addled owner and dipshit coach won't give a timetable, I'm going to say 6 weeks minimum. I honestly won't be shocked if he sits out the season. The man hasn't even started practicing yet and only started throwing again this month
>>
>>77915222
Fuck no. Jordy is due a season ending injury and Cooks' value just went up with Edeljew dying
>>
>>77915281
But being due an injury means nothing
>>
>>77915310
Even then, I expect Cooks and Jordy to both be tier 2 receivers this year. Jordy may outperform Cooks *slightly* but it isn't going to be by an insane amount, and Pryor is pretty good depth.

It's ultimately your call but I'd rather have a *slight* downgrade for my WR1/2 while keeping a fantastic bench player. That said, if you're stacked at receiver beyond Pryor, then it may be worth it to take Jordy.
>>
10 man half PPR

Let's say I have A. Brown and want an RB, do I grab Gurley or reach slightly for Crowell?
>>
>>77915408

Neither have a particularly easy strength of schedule, I would default to Gurley since he has flat out more talent and likely a more talented QB. The Rams have 3 new top WRs and a new offensive system while the Browns lost their top receiver and are running a new rookie QB who did nothing to wow us during the preseason.

>>77915408
Gurley. All signs point to him having a bounce back year and his floor is infinitely higher than Crowell's. Even if Goff remains a terrible QB (and he probably will) and the Rams continue to see 8+ in the box, Gurley's volume alone will keep in the top 15 worst-case, as the Rams really don't have anyone that can push him for touches. Meanwhile Duke Johnson is getting better every year and Crowell's volume is getting smaller as a result. I don't think Duke will supplant Crowell for the starting role, but he's going to cut into his workload more than he has in the past as he's showing potential as more than just a pass-catching back like he was his rookie year.

So I'm in this weird fantasy football league where everyone drafts 18 players, there's no D/ST or kickers, and once you draft the team, it's set for the entire season. There's no add/drop, no trades, anything like that. Every week, you get points from your best QB, 2 best RB, 3 best WR, and best TE, with one Flex as well. TL,DR it's basically rotisserie fantasy football with no roster moves.

Anyway, it's my turn to pick and I need to choose between Keenan Allen or Davante Adams. It's 0.5 PPR. Wat do?

I have zero RB depth so if Zeke ends up playing for the first half of the season my RB2 becomes Wendell Smallwood. So what do I do? Just shop Gronk out and get a solid RB2 in exchange and run with mediocre TEs the whole season? >>77918774

>>
>>77918871
This is why you don't draft TEs and QBs so early in the draft. Because you get fucked with your RB/WR depth. Honestly, if you don't go at least 2-2 while Zeke is out (I think he will get it reduced to 4) then your season is over.

If it stands and he gets the full 6 games, id quit now. Try to trade Rodgers for like a Kirk cousins, Jameis Winston and another RB
>>
Lads, is reaching for Aaron Rodger stupid in the early second round. I mean, the players available should be J. Ajay, J. Howard, D. Murray, M. Thomas, M. Gordon, etc. All carry a huge bust potential, not to mention injury risk. Rodgers has zero bust potential and much lower injury risk. I'd be shocked if he isn't the top QB by some distance. By the middle of the last two seasons I've always been extremely jealous of whoever has him when my "top" QB is sucking ass. Would taking him at 12 be utterly crazy or fucking smart?
>>
>>77918871
Yeah I'd definitely shop Gronk. Having a solid RB2/3 is far more important than having an elite TE. And since most people are retarded, you could probably fleece at least one person in your league as there's always that one guy who thinks Gronk is worth far more than he is due to Matt Berry shilling
>>
>>77918923
I think it is, a great QB like Aaron is nice but without a solid RB and WR on your roster you likely won't be much of a contender unless you luck out. The only time I think he should be reached is 1st pick on the 3rd.
>>
>>77918914

I'm getting a solid RB or WR in the first round. I just don't think those RB's or WR's available in the second round are much better than what will be available in the late 3rd round, Carlos Hyde, Dalvin Cook, or a WR like B. Cooks or T. Pryor. But taking Jay Ajay or Michael Thomas wouldn't be? There's at least 50% bust potential there. I remember a few years back when the guy who had Peyton Manning absolutely destroyed the league with him putting up 30+ points every game. Rodgers has that potential.
>>
>>77919049
Just don't do it. Rodgers is way too expensive a pick. Your QB, even an elite one like Rodgers, will never singlehandedly give you an advantage week to week. RBs and WRs will win you the league, not your QB you took in the first or second round.

Wait until the 5th or 6th to snatch up Mariota, Winston, or Cousins. Hell, even Philip Rivers is a great bounce back pick.

Use the early rounds to bolster your other skill positions trust me. In my 6 years of playing fantasy football I've never seen Aaron Rodgers lead a fantasy team to the championship

Also, what you described for jordy is exactly the situation he was in last year, where he had a huge year. So we should expect another productive year, given that nothing has changed, and he is not more likely to get injured than anyone else who played healthy all last season.

Bills at least have some players on offense and can score. Jets are a literal dumpster fire

I believe Bryant will have a good year, and TY Hilton will be good no matter who is throwing to him.

The draft page kept glitching out whenever I switched tabs, and it wouldn't reload in time I didn't pick Moncrief/Britt. In any case, I've found that having 3 top RB and 1 great QB will more often than not get you in the top 2 each year, as long as you have serviceable WRs. WR exploded one year, and everyone starts overvaluing them.

I'm shocked that people are sleeping on Bennett too, like he won't be able to keep up with the 3-8 TEs (who were all long gone by the time I picked him)

not a good trade imo

you could probably find a QB on the waivers until Luck comes back (unless you're in a gigantic or 2QB league i guess) and you're missing out on an RB who will likely be top 20 and has top 10 potential. Kelce is nice but ehhh. Gore could very well get overtaken by a younger RB and that offense is a mess, especially when Luck is out. Not a fan of that trade.

besides Brady I don't like any of your starters
TY is going to be missing Luck
Alshon has the secretly pretty bad Wentz throwing to him
Robinson has the not secretly bad Bortles throwing to him
Gurley has a trash Oline
Miller has a really low ceiling
I like Graham
I like Gillislee
I like DJ
I like Ingram
Martavis is ??? until he's reinstated
landry has a low ceiling and a new qb
Maclin is meh

3/10 very disappointing draft
>>77922312
pretty badly
Dak doesn't throw the ball often
Howard is fine
Crowell seems like he'd succeed but >browns so I'm unsure
Evans should be good
Cooks is fine for WR2
Eifert is injury prone and the offense has only gotten worse since their oline lost whitworth and zeitler
Thomas has a bad QB
Pats D is good
overall 5/10 might struggle

My team, the one above your post, is better and in a similar format. You came close to being a master drafter, but you were handed victory by the inadequacies of those around you. Your team is Pyrrhic and is terrible because it will deny you both victory and defeat.

Tough but I'd say Evans. Brought in djax to help with the double coverage he had last season plus I think jameis is a stud. Jordy is also a good pick but I feel he's overdue for an injury. Freeman is solid but has Coleman splitting carries. You know what, you really can't go wrong. Monitor Freeman's status and jordys health.
