Normally you could get off by saying that they consented to physical violence by playing footy but that is so far beyond what is part of the game that there's a high chance of charges being pressed

last time I played footy was in high school during PE back when I was a manlet. I picked up the ball, but then a guy twice my size grabbed me and unironically turned me upside down and threw me head first down onto the ground
