Hard to answer. If you judge on the eye test and word of mouth, Engel seems to be better, but Fangraphs and B-Ref like Leury's defense more and Baseball Prospectus likes Engel's defense more.
The big thing is that Leury is a decent hitter (109 wRC+/111 OPS+), and Engel is complete dog shit (51 wRC+/54 OPS+)
