This whole thing with the umps is absurd. Players should realize every ump has a different strike zone and things aren't always going to be perfect. That's baseball, it's a part of the game. It sucks, but I never hear complaining when calls go their way. If we sat here and argued balls and strikes everytime it's a bit off, you're going to have 9 hour games.

Umps need to have some humility too and realize their not the baseball Gods and that it's a game. Some get way too defensive when all a player does is look back after a bad call. If they stand there and argue, throw them out, but tame criticism shouldn't be a call to be thrown out. Too many of these guys turn into dictators out there.

Overall, I think it is a non-issue and the umpires are going to look like huge asswipes in this meeting with Manfred.
