Depends on the position and playstyle
Not if you're a target man, central defender or goalkeeper.

Can be a drawback
It is acknowledged that short guys outdribble taller guys, and change direction quicker thanks to their short legs. Also better reflexes thanks to shorter nerves
But a great height will be an advantage for duels and aerial balls
All in all neither of very short or very tall is too advantageous in football.
You'll rarely see a 210 cm proplayer, like you'll rarely see a 155 cm proplayer, but instead a massive amount of average height players.
Finally average height of proplayers is slightly taller than for all pop, because one or two very tall players raise the average (typically a 198 cm goalkeeper will raise of 2 cm the average height of his team if other players are of 178 cm average height)
