I'm 18 about to go to college. I have been lifting for about 2 years (on-off so bad gains), but approached 1-2-3-4 (bench was 215 dead 365). Stopped lifting during summer cause I was using the school weightroom.
I'm joining my college rugby team, and I was looking for advice for training with practices in the same day. I already figured I'd work out at 6 am before classes, so I could practice in the afternoon. I'm just not sure how I'm gonna train really hard then still be able to practice without being really tired/sore/weak.
Any advice welcome. Know this is more /fit/ but thought maybe someone here could shed some light too.
Just give up. Amerilards can't play rugby lmao.
Why just not go to Handegg? Too much competition?

Do whatever the best players on the team do for training. Try and make friends or curry favor with the Senior and Junior leaders of your team and try to train with them, it's good to make upperclassman friends anyway in college.
Just start with regular practice and if you aren't totally sore in the morning you can go lift. Or like I said, lift with other guys on the team.

My uni doesn't have a team and I've always been sorta interested in it. Don't really like football anyways.
