Mess - Gifted player, 4-5 years of top class play. Lacks determination and mental characteristics of a top pro. Beta, weak, cheese pizza and sprite, autism, tries to get tattoos to look 'cool' etc. etc.

Ronaldo - Pure machine. 15 years + of top class play. Undisputed GOAT. Alpha male. Has proven himself in the EPL and Spain.

Neymar - More consistent version of Nani. Bottled it and took the easy way out in playing for a mickey mouse league. Not even a top 20 player in the world purely down to that decision alone.

Seems like a lot on /sp/ would say A was better though for reaching those heights. I'd say B reached greater heights than A though, as doing it consistently over many years is a greater achievement and more difficult to do than having a flash in the pan purple patch.

Some on here seem to think the World Cup is some sort of holy grail of achievement, and that winning this is somehow better than winning (for example) 3 league titles and a champions league.

This sort of logic is bizarre to me. The world cup can be won in 7 or 8 games and largely depends on luck (i.e. where you were born, what time you were born, weather/conditions/injuries etc.) whereas the league is based on nearly 40 games over a 8 month period.

Pretty obvious which is the greater achievement.
