I generally watch every Barca game, and the 2 legs against Madrid were just horrible all around. Shit tier defending, an abundance of carelessness. I know the Cup doesn't mean shit all but it is a Clasico, 5-1 isn't a good way to go.

I'm actually worried for Barca this Season desu. Everyone just looked unhappy on the pitch. There's no real big signings with Neymar gone, their new manager doesn't seem to be sparking confidence and players like Suarez don't seem to be performing as they once did. It's interesting, either they tumble down from here, or a few games in La Liga helps them regain their footing and adjust to no Nerman

I agree with most of what you say, but you fail to consider the current situation of both squads. Remove the Barca-Halal tags, one is a double champion last season with a healthy squad and a consolidated manager that won 7 titles in less than 2 years. Also, they had ended the preseason earlier to play (and win in a similarly easy fashion) a trophy against another top regional team. The other is an aging squad who days ago got stripped of one of their top talents which will be almost impossible to replace, who have a new and unproven manager and were playing their first "official" games of the season.

Im not saying Barca should just chill and the results will come, but their current form is still top 2 in La Liga and probably title contender in EPL, which is the topic at hand.

it's honestly tough to say but probably 4th. right now they are in warm weather playing cupcakes most of the season. PL they have to play quality opponents week after week, deal with the league cup, deal with the FA cup and still deal with CL.
