I think that being italian is a cultural thing far from being understandable, or to be defined clearly towards social clues. We've got so many different subcultures in here, that everyone is italian, and nobody is.

I'm from southern Italy and still can recognize heavy differences in behaviour and language if I travel 30-40km from home. And this is true for ALL Italy.

Roma are ready to loan Lukas Skorupski to Crystal Palace, perhaps with an option to buy, after his strong spell at Empoli.

What would be Matuidi's contribution in Juve's two-men midfield? I always saw him playing in a three-men midfield, he's definitely not a playmaker and in general not a player who likes to have the ball on his feet, he also runs like Chiellini and doesn't have a great technique.

>yfw you just bought the best defender available
>yfw the worst coach of Milan's history goes to Juve and send Bonucci to you taking De Sciglio for 12 mln

I'll spoonfed you, lad, not joking: I'm quite satisfied about the transfer market we made, thing is Milan isn't really on the way to buy Aubameyang or Belotti because they are a little overrated. It's a matter of fact that players priced too high are stuck in their teams at the moment. I would say Belotti is 50mln, Aubameyang 60, maybe 70, Coutinho 60. But their teams are selling this items way overpriced because PSG moved 222 millions to Barcà, and they expect catalunyan to make a big move. Not least, Chelsea spent 80 for Morata, and still has money to invest.

Of course all Milan supporters wants Aubameyang back because it's both a pain in the ass that he was a player of ours and last season he scored 30 goals in Bundes, and because they want another teeth grinding demonstration of power like the Bonucci's sign is.

More facts: we did well also in selling players. Bacca, Honda, Poli, Bertolacci, De Sciglio had quite important wages, and they are out. I'm sorry for Lapadula, Vangioni and Kucka, but whatever.

So at the end the question is if there is a high remaining budget to make another move, or there is not. We'll see.

If Belotti confirms himself at the same level as the past season next year he'll go for well above 100 millions. The only reason people are not willing to pay that much for him now is because they are not sure if this season was just a fluke or if he's really that good.
Torino is right in not wanting to sell him for less.

accordingly to the actual prices, yes, they are right. But Belotti is also quite prone to injuries, so... I don't know. I would evaluate him above 100 millions if he confirm the previous season's numbers, but if the prices weren't this high, it would a great exaggeration to pay him this much.

Then remember that his contract will expire soon, so Cairo is in troubles.

Even with 3 competitions one of the 3 is going to play around 10 games and it's too few for player paid 30, 38 and 50+? millions. 3 strikers total for a 352 on the contrary too few (not counting that Suso, and in a smaller fashon Calha and Jack should be shoehorned somewhere in midfield, and that >we don't have nearly enough competent CBs to play 3atb)

I mean, he's good and can give his contribution, but it's not quite what was necessary. Juve needs someone to hold the midfield in front the defense, but he's good at creating spaces and not at playing the ball.
I'm also afraid this could lead to a 4-3-3 and that would waste all those great forwards we bought

Because sport press is only trying to sell you easy sentences and also a lot of sentences. I have literally zero confidence in Reina. I don't know how Sarri doesn't get a nervous breakdown whenever the opposition has even a half-chance
>>
>>77661916
Well they were trying to get sczeszny
>>
>>77661916
Who would you think to be good replacement for reina?
>>
>Niang refuses Spartak only wants Torino

Just gift him to Mihajlovic. He was mistreated by B&G anyway.
>>
>>77662155
I don't think any big team would sell their keeper with two weeks to go until the transfer window closes, but they can legit get Gent's Lovre Kalinic for €15mil tops, and he's a top keeper. Better than fucking Reina and similar scrubs for sure

>>77662148
Why aren't they trying to sign someone else? Because they players want Reina to stay?
>>
>>77662257
>Because they players want Reina to stay?
I guess that, plus Reina is veryo good with his feet and fundamental to Napoli's play.
Having a better shotstopper and then you concede more shots because you can't escape as well from the other team's pressure and score less goals because you can't build up play as well starting from the back, would not solve any of napoli's problems.
They don't need a keeper who is just better than Reina at shotstopping, they need someone who is at least as good as him with his feet and better than him at shotstopping.
And i can't think of many players with those characteristics.
>>
If Vazquez is willing to join Roma, and if he'd be cheaper than Mahrez, why don't they just pull the trigger? He's a fine player and would probably improve a lot if he got to start

>>77662358
Yeah, I get that, but Reina just isn't on the level they need to win the title. Napoli is like a step away from winning the title and going far in the CL, but...

Matuidi is fine for a stop gap honestly, gives Juve workrate that they desperately needed. Gives Max more flexibility if he wants to play a 3 man mid or the occasional 3-5-2.

Great match yesterday from Napoli but sharpness in front of goal was lacking. Insigne and Callejón could have scored two each and Milik missed an open net. However, on tuesday Nice will have to push up the team to score which suits Napoli well. Qualification is practically in the bag.

It will be interesting to see if De La buys another player before the window closes. There has been talk of Chiesa and Keita...both would be quality signings but honestly I the squad is set in stone for the coming season.

Things with italian shitty coaches is that they stick with a player and project their biases on him. It's like betting a good amount of money, which is not actually yours.

Think of Allegri, he's the dumbest italian coach around, and you can spot a Pjanic playing as playmaker, and a De Sciglio bought for 12 millions.

Look at Sarri instead. He's scientific, unbiased, the only players on the pitch are the one who follows his schemes.

>Montolivo

What does he have on the people in Milan? He must have some kind of dirt on every single person in Milan and blackmailing them.

Last game was one of the worst performances I've ever seen. He is the same age as C.Ronaldo, but he can barely move.
He's 32 and moves like a geriatric with arthritis on the pitch. I mean you could throw retired Ambrosini a pair of cleats and a redbull to and he'd do better.
>>
>>77673316
It's just a no name Tier F team. The lineup doesn't matter. Better to rest some starters for Sunday actually.

Romagnoli is injured but the fucker has Musacchio and he's not playing him. Should play Loca over that garbage Montolivo and what the fuck is he thinking playing Antonelli?

God I hope we sack this cunt already and get Simone Inzaghi next season.
>>
>>77673316

Montolivo is wasted talent.

I had the chance to watch him playmaking in a Napoli - Fiorentina, at the Stadium.

The way he carried and discharged the ball on his teammates was top tier. Fiorentina could play with a formation widened to its maximum because of his vision and long passage skills.

Something went wrong when he still was with Viola. When he arrived at Milan he wasn't that player anymore.

Still he got some qualities, but mentally and physically he's the shadow of himself.
>>
>>77673624
>Still he got some qualities
I don't think going slower than an old fart on a wheelchair is considered a quality in today's football
>>
>>77673621

Are you fucking trolling me or what? Do you really want to say that Montella has to be fired? Why? Because you don't know ANYTHING about the condition of players and you feel harassed by the starting eleven?

And Simone Inzaghi? He's a great coach but do you think that he would be a good manager asap? With a new squad he doesn't know anything about it?

Yes, you are fucking trolling me.

Also even if we fucking win 10-0 tonight Montella is still a garbage coach who doesn't realize that he needs to play the starters to gel with each-other instead of wasting time with garbage like Montolivo, Zapata, Antonelli, Borini.

finland is shit at football so watching euros and world cup as a kid i had no team. i liked italy the most. then i saw champions league 2003 arsenal vs inter. and inter raped 3-0 arsenal. i think vieri or adriano scored, martins and van der meyde. they shirts and domination made me a fan. then i also supported them when i watched serie a from canal+. inter got always raped in derbys back then even though i didnt know what was a derby. and serie a was always the best quality league for me. it was different from the other ones. atmosphere and super quality. now ive followed pretty closesly like last 8 seasons

>>

This is really great start for him, an opportunity to build confidence ahead of the start of a league he has never played in. I have to admit I was sceptical when Fassobelli brought him - I thought it was some sort of money laundering favorism for Mendes. But the kid actually has potential.

As for Montolivo, I think that Bonucci lifted the burden of the captain's armband he can finally focus on playing football instead of leading a rag tag team of big club rejects, fallen out of grace talents and retired-but-still-playing footballers. I'm not saying he is gonna be a new Pirlo (which I had hoped for when they originally brought him) but if this turns out to be his best season in Milan, he's going to be an asset.

I'm hyped for the season to start.
>>
>>77674535
I really don't rate him, but he looked really happy. Glad for him.
>>
>>77674675
>sought by literally no one
He was linked with Barça during last summer and at the beginning of this one until they bought Semedo

So? If a player plays for a shit team he's automatically shit too?
Valencia went through a 2 or 3 years long crisis, but he always gave his contribution

Same, he even pointed to Fassone after his first goal and Fassone gave him a thumbs up lol

This match has been brilliant but Milan is leaving a lot of space in defense, any team with a decent attack can expose that on the counter. I hope that's just for this match since the opposition is so weak.
