idk. With how unpredictable the "Tier 1" RBs are these days I almost prefer later in a snake draft. Get a Gronk + Top WR/RB or two studly WRs/RBs

Depends on the year and who I'm high on, but I generally have my eye on 4 or 5 guys so I like to be pick #6.
That way I'm happy that I "lucked out" that one of them fell to me, or all of them get taken and I can blame me eventual shitty team and season on the fact that I don't have one of the guys I wanted

Zeke in the 5th might be a stretch. Getting ten of 16 weeks is not good for the fifth round, coupled with the fact that he might not be superman upon returning. He might only be effective at last year's levels for the final 8 games. that's only 6 games for fantasy football and you might be out of the playoff picture by then.

Can't go wrong with Le'Veon Bell. He literally set the all-time record for yards from scrimmage per game last year for a RB and has the same offensive line in front of him.

Zeke got picked in the second round. We're all Cowboys homers and the guy that grabbed him drafted half his team from the Boys because it's "our year." Half the group were new to FF and the other half had some experience but made rookie mistakes according to the advice I read (drafting QBs and TEs too early, avoiding injuries I thought weren't serious, etc) which through off some of my original picks, so I tried to draft up and get as much offensive power as I could before they had the chance to make up for it. That's how I ended up with the picks I got mid-draft.

What are some ways to make playing an 8man league more interesting? My group of high school guys (been playing together for a decade) lost two people this last year (one moved to SE asia and the other doesn't talk to us anymore), and we've never had this few people.

Should we look at maybe adding a superflex, or just rolling with 2QB? Feels like things are just going to be weird with so many actually decent players going undrafted.

I took FantasyPros expert consensus projections and created auction values based on actual math rather than whatever the fuck they're doing. Johnson should be $105 and Bell $94. I know these numbers seem absurd but they're both incredibly safe and leagues better than all the other RBs, especially replacement level RBs.

Not true, Murray and Freeman will both be equally valued to the top 4 RB, especially if you still include Zeke in that list playing half a season. Get a top ten ten WR and a top ten RB or two of each and you're golden, so as long as you pick five or lower, you should be able to build an A plus team.

Could Zeke's appeal get pushed into next season like Brady's did? I just dropped $30 on him in an auction league on this line of thinking. (Which I guess is around a 5-6th round value of money?)

Is it ever worth drafting Gronk in the first? He's so much better than other TEs to the point of having another #1 WR on your lineup, but he's always either injured or dealing with a nagging injury.

Also, what TEs would you consider to be worth drafting rather than streaming? I can only think of Reed, Kelce, Walker, and Eifert as consistent enough, but they are often out due to injury as well.

Stream or try drafting one of those guys in the middle rounds?

I always get 2 QB and 2 DST.

For QB it's a leverage thing, if you can swing and hit the #2 QB pick out of the park, it's a lot of leverage later in the season after your bye week is over.

For D/ST, I ALWAYS draft, carry 2 defenses. It's an absolute no brainer. If you have two good defenses, you can give one of them the week off when they're playing a really good offensive team, or play the one facing a shitty team.

Round 2 I would not target Cooks as your WR1, too many mouths in NE, very streaky. I'd target someone like Dez Bryant who falls around that late 2nd round range or Deandre hopkins, Doug Baldwin if you want a WR. Its a standard yahoo cash league, so three wrs and no flex.

Im looking for a WR with higher upside than Davis, who I might be able to swap for one of my RBs. The guy who has Demarco Murray has shit WRs, so I cant get him to give me shit I want for Henry.

Any good bench WRs you guys like?

Your QB and WRs are your strengths. Could've picked some better backup WRs but your starters are good. Your RBs are skeptical; Lynch is a year out of football and is in a pass happy offense, Ware could share time in the backfield but at least the Chiefs run the ball. No idea how Bennett will do in the Packers system, you might be better off using Gates to start the season and see how Bennett works in GB. You picked an upper-tier defense so good job, lol kickers.

Rodgers should win you some games on his own, so he'll make up for your less than stellar RBs. Maybe package a trade with one of your TEs for a RB that isn't such an unknown.

Running back is the most important position, and youre relying on a guy whose over 30 who was retired for a year, and a guy who could be replaced at any second.

Your wide receivers are good and well balanced. In the future, don't pick top QB's. The point differential between an elite quarterback and a good quarterback is way smaller than between an elite running back and a good running back.

I would say to look around the league for someone with a Kirk Cousins or Cam Newton, and offer a trade a QB swap for one of their better running backs.
