Not really asking about their motivation, but there's a lot more money in the NFL than strongman.

This. They're pretty good where they're at. But yeah, I'd imagine they'd make for pretty decent offensive linemen. Defensive too, if they're fast.

Always wondered this too. They're not as quick as your average lineman, but they can plug a hole and strong arm the shit out of anyone at least.

Their feet probably won't be that good, but they do have some capacity for explosive movement. You can see this at 33 minutes into the video below, when Hafthor throws some kettlebells over a bar.

Hafthor actually played basketball before getting giant and into strongman, he probably has some athleticism
He's pretty tall which isn't always an advantage leverage wise, but he might be good
