How does /sp/ feel that boxing is beginning to move away from PPV?
I'm glad.
I'm also glad we're getting great boxers on basic cable. Terence Crawford is fighting on ESPN in two weeks. That's super exposure.
Feels good, its nice to know that almost every week there's a boxing card on ESPN, Showtime or HBO

Why even live
It's a good move. I'm assuming a lot more money, fame for the fighters, and attention to the sport will occur.
I think Pacman's lost might've fucked it all up though. The L he took was good as it goes to show the anything could happen nature of boxing. At the same time it's pretty obvious Pac won leading normies to distrust the sport and "le boxing is dead"
It's good to have fighters like Crawford fighting on ESPN but what good is it if they are fighting nobody's?
Something like Canelo vs Kirkland should have been on ESPN or prime time tv.
