in a lot of sports there are rules for what kind of clothing women are allowed to wear during competition, right down to centimeter measurements, also in athletics.

this norwegian runner was interviewed about it once, i think in the olympics or before. apparently she was only allowed to wear one of two types of shorts/bra, and they were both kinda skimpy. maybe it's changed now.

There was never even a grain of truth in her claims. Both the Norwegian Athletics Association and their apparel provider made it clear that athletes could wear whatever they wanted as long as it was within their and AAF regulations. In other words she had always been able to run in less revealing clothing such as leggings, jersey etc., but had never requested this, nor had she complained about her so called 'skimpy clothing' before it hit the media.

No surprise that a vocal feminist known for craving media attention would try to victimise herself and her gender though. She's done it numerous times.
