Across the country, only immigrants and the children of immigrants are actually interested in it and watch international football. Many white children play it while growing up, but only because their parents make them and they quickly lose interest in the sport after they turn 12, when they become more interested in American football. The few that stay interested are the beta males who watch MLS.
