There are a decent number of blacks in the Bronx and on Long Island so both. I'd be willing to bet that the Yankees have more black fans though just because they have more fans in general. The only ethnic groups that you can reliably bet on supporting one team in New York are the Dominicans/Puerto Ricans, who are overwhelmingly Yankees fans. Same goes for the Cubans across the river in West NY.

Liar. There are so many Jewish Mets fans. And Puerto Ricans/Dominicans fucking love the Yankees, the mets aren't even on their radar.

American blacks root for whoever is winning. They are the second largest group of bandwagoners in the western hemisphere behind only Canadians.

They root for their boy Mike Judge, just like white folks love their boy Trout.
