What significant changes did the Cusb make from 2015 to 2016 that pushed them over the edge? Just domestic abuse man who was below average in the playoffs?

The Doyers have added:
>Chris Taylor (.314)
>Brandon Morrow (4-0, 1.82 ERA)
>Yu Darvish (inb4 playoff stats from 2 career starts with >rags),
>Bellinger (31 HR)

Plus 5 Dodger position players are OPSing 900+

None of that was here last season.
>>
>>77493761
The cubs hadn't choked in 4 straight playoffs, just 1, which is too small of a sample size. The cubs pitchers' at this point are notorious playoff chokers, and your solution was to add another playoff choker to your rotation. Nice job.
>>
This team had 5 consecutive Rookie of the Year winners, yet only won a single playoff game with any of these players on their roster.
>>
Does anyone have any reasons the Dodgers will choke besides that previous dodger teams have choked?

Just curious.

I never said he was completely incapable of winning in the postseason, just that he has a history of choking in the postseaon, meaning he's more likely to do it again in the future than someone who doesn't. It would've been better to add a pitcher who has a history of success in the postseason, like a Giants or Mets pitcher. I guess Doyers autists can't into evidence or stats and just want to wing everything and buy the fanciest players available.

But when that athleticism changed even a little bit all the things that went along with it changed too. Not much - but enough to turn Big Time Timmy Jim from 2x Cy Young to over and done.

Jose Altuve is now batting .365--and almost .500 for July. This average is the best average posted by qualified players since Ichiro's .372 in 2004. Tanaka, Nomo, Iwakuma, Hideki Matsui, Kuroda, Uehara, Maeda, the list goes on. Most of the japanese players who have come over have been successful, even Kaz Matsui, who is widely seen as someone who could not translate to MLB, still put up several above average seasons.

Ichiro and Darvish are just the best examples, since they were extremely elite in japan before coming over and continued to play at that level here. For some reason there's a handful of autists here who can not accept the fact that Ichiro is in fact an all-time great player, but that doesn't mean he isn't.

great job assuming enough factors to simulate a fucking universe

did the TroutAngels face the same competition as the NoTroutAngels? did they even face the same relative strength of opposition? did they even face the same fucking number of opponents?

were the exact same guys on the DL when trout was on it still there when he came back? never mind whether they were healthy, did they still merit a spot on the roster according to their manager's evaluation? did half the team get hit by an asteroid, leaving poor Trout to literally lose games for them since coming back from the DL, despite retard baseball nerds saying he theoretically helps teams win more games due to the objective superiority of his performance compared to league average?

what the hell does the angles win ratio have fuck all to do with Trout being a good player, when there's a billion other factors deciding whether they win or not?

pickle rick is a thing in the show Rick and Morty, TV loves to shit on this show cause it's popular and has what they consider "reddit tier" humor that appeals to the average redditor. the rest of the meme is a 'parody' of the song "party rocker anthem" which is liked in an ironic way for how obnoxious it is, i believe the affinity for it comes from right here on /sp/ and has something to do with spics i believe

Tulo started to fade in hitting even at Coors, Corey Dickerson is a good example of a "Coors Baby" who's kept being good after leaving. Really the Coors effect only improves your batting average like 10-20 points, doesnt turn a shit hitter into a good one

I always thought the dodgers hitting was a much bigger concern than fans of the team could see. If I were you id be highly concerned about Bellinger's average dropping and many of your other hitters having a history of struggling in the post season. Your pitching is honestly out of this world I can't quite believe it has gotten this good. Don't tell that mother fucker with the trip but honestly I think you'll make the world series this year if anything due to the lack of a better team such as the cubs or cardinals in the past. Nats havn't got the bullpen, cubs/brewers are a sham, d-backs are utterly incapable of beating you and the Rockies aren't going to win 3 out of 5 games against that rotation especially not in LA
