For me, it's Ryan Reynolds
for me its Patxi
for me, its ETA
there is a big rivalry about every state/province/or whatever having a Royalist club and other more independent club?
Like Catalunia have Espanyol and Barcelona, Basque have Bilbao and Real Sociedad
i am just talking based on the names so if the politics of the club are not the same sorry
For me, it's Portugalete

i don't think espanyol really cares about catalonia, just look at their name

oops, i've misread your post
for you, it's faceblindness

yeah that is what i am talking about it.
in most cities/states with 2 big clubs you have a dichotomy based on politics, wealth, heritage.
i just wonder if this rivalry transcends into the fans and they still groom that kind of rivalry.
For example here in São Paulo, in the 1940 when Brazil oficially entered WW2, a lot of immigrants from the axis were persecuted, specially by politicians and real state moguls trying to buy their land.So clubs like São Paulo were not in good terms with Palmeiras for example.
But obviously as the years passed this rivalry based on heritage doesn't exist, so i wonder if there is still a big rivalry based on nationalism in Spain

For me, it's Jose Canseco.

How has he been lately? I remember that were rumors of Barca going after him in one of their defensive crisis a few seasons back.

Real Sociedad's fanbase is even more heavily Basque nationalist that Athletic Bilbao's. Both fanbases have minorities who aren't, obviously.
Por minha, è André André

I'd say Athletic tends towards the PNV kind of nationalism and Real tends to the Bildu/abertzale left kind.
It's mosly because Basque native speakers tend to be more... nationalist (Bildu kind) and Gipuzkoa have more of those.
