Not really opposite but out MF is functional and nothing more. Defence is okay. And the strikeforce isn't good enough to make up the difference. It's an alright squad that could challlenge but would need an exceptional year to do so. Which under Wenger will not happen.

Honesty time here, I'm a Manure supporter and from my perspective I do look at some of the ridiculous spending and squad rebuilding we've done and think it has sucked the essence from the club (thinking post-Fergie here) and, although a lot of Arsenal fans and Wenger supports say this and it might seem a bit old, you probably will regret not having Wenger and how honest he's kept the club.

This transfer window more than any has started to reveal how much costs are going to score. Man U have spent shit loads in recent years and City have spent a ridiculous amount on defence alone. For me, if Wenger gets another year he really needs to focus on getting a younger CDM and winger and another striker to pair with Lacazette. But none of this rumour bullshit and playing games. Just fucking go to Monaco and say "100 mill for Mbappe" or what you should have done with Suarez (if you'd brought him in I reckon you could've won the league).

Adding fresh blood should help especially if you lose Sanchez and, personally, I prefer a two striker system - one thing that frustrates me with Mou. Maybe now Pep is starting to use it it will become more fashionable again.

Although I don't think Wenger has it in him to win another PL and I want him gone (provided there's a good replacement), I don't hate the man. I know what he's done for the club. But I think both the club and Wenger wrongly assessed the market when they decided to be frugal and amass a cash reserve instead of reinvesting it in the squad. A cash reserve is the worst use of money in a rapidly inflating market.

The Suarez thing hurts me to the day, I think he would've taken us to another level.

Sanchez and Laca in attack with Giroud, Welbeck and Theo in reserve works for me. If Sanchez leaves the formation will need to change so I don't know which kind of player will be needed. Although I don't think we'll ever go with just one striker. As for Mou, he's used one striker since his Chelsea days so I wouldn't be hopeful. Kind of funny to see Utd so light in the CF department, a club known for having 4 top strikers in the squad for the better part of the last 25 years.

I disagree completely. If we hadn't built the new stadium and gone through those years of austerity we'd be in a much less competitive financial position today. Right now, we can afford to pay top wages for top players. We can afford to spend £50m+ on a marquee signing. Arsenal without the new stadium would not be able to do that. For years we were in a position where a couple of years outside the CL could have broken us. We needed that cash reserve as an emergency fund in case we fell out of the top 4. We didn't, so it feels like it was a waste not to spend it at the time, but the decisions made were fundamentally correct. If we'd spent the money and dropped out of the top 4, everyone would be laughing at us for doing a Leeds. There's a lot of things I'd criticse Wenger and the board about; carefully managing the club's finances between 2006-2012 is not one of them.

How expensive is a ticket to watch Arsenal on the Emirates? I'm looking for the cheapest choice.
