>before last night's game in Oakland
>yestreday's "The Bruce Bochy Show"
>asked about the bullpen
>Yes I talked to them. They're pitching like they hate each other; they're cashing in another pitcher's runs.
Nice "catch," Span. Jesus.
Though I feel bad for Span, left the Nats just as the Giants were getting bad and the Nats were getting good.
Giants looking good for making up that game they dropped to the Phillies last night in the race for the worst record.
Ur all fagets

P I N D E R
>>77446950
It was a beautiful catch.
>>77446941
Romo was DFA'd 7/20 and Tampa Bay claimed him off waivers 7/22.
>>77446941
>>77446983
Which means Romo will get a ring without even having to play.
>>77447004
No. Because of his stint in the DL, he was short the required 64 days active.
>>77447015
Ah, I didn't realize Romo had been on the DL that long. Thanks (though Romo probably doesn't thank you).
Yowza, the Giants play the Phillies later this month for the right to the #1 draft pick.
Giants looking good tonight.

>>77447215
I'm not really amused by this tanking meme. Someone might confuse you for trying to save face.
>>77447015
>required 64 days active
I'm unclear on this, please elaborate.

Remember 2010?
Bengie Molina was SF's first-half catcher and was traded to TEX at the deadline. (Rookie Gerald took over as catcher).
SF and TEX played in the WS. Bengie having played the required number of games for both teams, was the ONLY player guaranteed a ring regardless.
BUT in 2012, Melky Cabrera was suspended 50 games for PED (shortly after Perfecto day) and played less than the required days and , thus, ineligible for a ring. Ironically, he was eligible for that year's batting title.
bob melvin or bruce bochy? who would manage the dodgers roster to a world series win?

>>77447313
>>77447363
>>77447015
Teams have given rings to players who've played in as little as one inning.
>>77447368
Either could,but neither would.
>>77447375
Those are upon the teams discretion and NOT due to eligibility. Like giving rings to staff or lately, BARTMAN.
I recognize this closer from somewhere
>>77447434
I recognize the feeling of terror that the lead isn't safe.
>>77447363
>>77447402
I didn't post the other reply. I am asking you to elaborate on this 64-day eligibility.
Rings are ordered and distributed by teams outside of the purview of MLB. And yeah, guys like Melky, Uggla, and Wellemeyer got rings.
gg A's.

Next game (#2): Same time tomorrow = 10:15 PM ET | 7:15 PM PT

1 reason why players like to play for SF Giants:
Bochy's reward (play 1 game, get a ring).
>Dan Uggla played 4 games: went 0 for 11 and made 2 errors at second base.
>Uggla's struggle opened the door for Joe Panik. Panik was instrumental in that year's title.
Question: is Kelli Johnson a qt?
>>77447779
That doesn't say anything about what anon was blowing out of his ass about a 64-day eligibility requirement.
Brayan Villarreal made 4 pitches for the Red Sox in one game in 2013 and got a ring. Of course it was up to the Red Sox, because MLB has *no* say. There is no eligibility requirement.
