TEBOW JUST HIT ANOTHER ONE
APOLOGIZE RIGHT

Isn't he batting like .180?
>>77373388
.298 with 5 HR and 20 RBI since being promoted to high A ball a month ago.

If the MLB doctoring balls to such a ridiculous degree is any indication, dingers are all that matter

Redpill me on baseball leagues. How bad is high A? What are the odds he gets a contract with a decent team?
>>77373643
If you decided right now you wanted to play baseball you'd be in High A by September
Order basically goes
Rookie
A-
A
A+
AA
AAA
MLB
Each MLB team has ownership of its minor league/farm system, so he's already under contract with the New York Mets. Started in A this year, has moved up to high-A. You don't start seeing major league level style of play until around AA, so that'll determine whether or not Tebow could actually play big league ball.

Damn I just hope he's happy, he's such a cool guy

High A is like 4th division. The order of leagues goes:
Major Leagues
AAA
AA
High A
A
these are all the full season leagues
under that you have short season leagues (only half the year)
low A
Rookie ball
DSL/VSL (dominican and venezuelan summer leagues)
but short season ball is only for kids really, recently drafted players and maybe a couple 2nd year players go there
As for Tebow, he is way older than most players in High A, it's usually 20-23 year olds. If he keeps hitting like he has this month, and continues it next season (only a month left in minor league season) I could see him getting moved up to AAA ball next year and maybe sniffing the majors at the end of next season.

Nah, it's still pretty good pro ball
>>77373955
He won't get past AA if he can't hit the breaking ball. I saw him three times in Columbia and he's taking the right approach but I'm not sure he's got the twitch speed required for his body type.

the difference between A and AAA isn't as much as you think. The biggest difference is the pitchers tend to be able to throw some breaking pitches, so you see a lot of ball movement, it's not serious since there still are a lot of pitchers in AAA who are basically 4 or 2 seam fastball guys. The real learning curve is from AAA to the Majors. Every pitcher in the majors has serious ball movement.
Since he's batting 300 in A, expect Tebow to hit 220-250 or so in AAA
tebow is elite
who
If he keeps this up, some basement-dwelling team will let him play in the majors for ticket sales and shirt revenue
