Do you think that the stereotype of conspiratards all being totally out-of-touch is a socially engineered subconscious response?

So things like 9/11 being fake, moon landings being fake etc are all ideas that everyone knows about but dismisses them as retard conspiracies and ignores them despite their possible validity.

Abysmal pun for starters.

The answer is "the death of football".
>>
>>77367430
Qatar pays Neymar 270 million pounds to be their 2022 WC ambassador.

Neymar uses that money to pay his own release clause therefore freeing him to sign a contract with any club he chooses.

Neymar signs with PSG as per agreement.
Or just screws the Qataris and moves to whichever club he chooses because basically they're trying to sidestep FFP. But there's a risk because Neymar might just pay Barcelona the money and pick and choose based on the highest bidder.
>>
>>77367430
Now we just need to hope that the WC goes to the US.
>>
>>77367430
Bit like what united done in the herrera deal
Gets around FFP and taxes as the player is paying thier own release clause. United did it with herrera
>>
>>77367500
I'm guessing the agreement for the 'ambassador' work will involve him playing for their flagship team.

Is sustainable happiness a myth from films, books etc.?

Obviously I've been happy for a couple of minutes after something good happens but I've never been "happy" without a direct immediate cause. But in films and stuff you see people who are just happy consistently, is this normal?

>>
>>77367647

Not saying the Arabs are killing football (though they are contributing). But it's the shitshow behind it:

>Qatar is one of two main exporters of Wahhabism, aka the ISIS ideology
>obvious terrorist sponsors
>country has no sports history
>over a thousand people has literally died under slave-like conditions to build stadiums
>everything fun is illegal
>they obviously bribed their way to the votes

Paired with the fact this was by far the worst choice of all.
>>
>>77367620
>Qatar is STILL hosting the 2022 WC. How the fuck that shit has not been withdrawn and given to the US instead is beyond me.

Stop hating anon! It's perfectly reasonable that most of the football leagues across the world have to radically alter their schedule so they can try to do this during the European winter! This is the *world* cup you know!

Besides, Donald Trump is president so the world's going to end by 2022; by the time you get to 2022 you'll even wish that they still played MLS games!
>>
>>77367637
Eh, Herrera paid his own release clause. Bilbao were holding out for a higher amount and refused to sell even after United met their release clause. Basically stalling for a few extra million Euro which was due to happen that month.

Herrera paid his own release clause with United's money and stopped their shitty stalling and potentially scuppering the move.
>>
>>77367722
And I am saying the less we involve the americans the better it is.
>>
Based stones
>>
>>77367734
Bilbao are renowned for that shit. Technically players in Spain do have to pay the release clause for it to be official, but most clubs aren't that petty.
>>
>Celtic wouldn't survive in England
>smash an only recently relegated PL side with a B/C team

lmao
>>
>>77367637
>Furthermore, according to the Spanish regulations, the money for the buy-out clause has to be paid to the Spanish football federation by Ander Herrera himself, rather than Manchester United. The player must buy out his own contract in order to leave the club.

So instead of going through the club they go through the Federation. The player is allowed to pay ino the Federation and the club is obligated to release the player. Thereby sidestepping any heel dragging by the club.
>>
>>77367762
Sunderland will get smashed in the Championship too.
>>
>>77367758
There is a hitch to it though britbong.
When the money is transferred to the player, It counts as taxable income, the player would be left with quite a hefty tax bill to the spanish government.
>>
>yank spurs fans booing walker

>>
>>77367805
Well in Neymars case about 47 percent of 200 million kek
>>
>>77367805
Yeah, it's something like 50% on top. Like I said, most clubs will just accept the amount of the release clause from the buying club, or they'll agree for a few million above the actual release clause, so the selling club can save a bit of face.

Yeah so basically he has to be a tax resident of England or pay fucking tax on about 36 million euros kek.

>>
>>77370602
Just like Sanchez was in Paris to sign for PSG when he was literally in Chile? If Sanchez wanted to do a transfer request, he would have done it by now. He has nothing to lose by staying on a final year. If he stays, he can go "I'm not a mercenary as I honoured my contract" and not have to pay any shit AND collect a loyalty bonus AND sort out a house in Manchester AND get his dogs up there.

I'm fed up hearing about him. Sell him please, just end this already. Nobody cares.
>>
>>77370758
what are his wage demands? do you know? IIRC it was something like £400k
>>
>>77370758
If he hands in a transfer request, he loses all bonuses and sell-on clauses he could be entitled to, which he might understandably be not interested in doing. And he is already 28, I don't think he'd be willing to waste another year without titles, especially having such a winning mentality.

Far as I know he wants £400k from City (though media keeps saying he'll take less) and £500k from non-City clubs. City have offered £305k a week or £350k a week, I forget.

>>77370906
You mean league titles, he has 3 winner medals with Arsenal (2 FA Cups and 1 Community Shield.. Or is it two?). But if he wants League Titles, City might not be the best bet either. Also I did say he has more to gain by staying.
>>
>>77370906
Then why would he join City? City won 0 (ZERO) things last year. So why would he join City if he wants titles? Arsenal won something, Poop couldn't even win the League Cup. Sanchez says he wants to play in CL, that's it. Nothing more. City haven't won the CL. Neither have Arse. So if he was CL, he better join Chelsea, Pool or United or go to another foreign club. if you mean league titles, go to Spurs, Chelsea or Liverpool since they're more likely to win it than City are.

And I'm not talking just about titles (like you pointed, Arsenal did won titles with him there), but the overall mentality, the same reason that loads of supporters complain about Wenger and the reason players like RVP, Nasri and Fabregas left the club in the recent history. Unless Arsenal change something there those things will keep happening.

Desu Conte complains a lot, sometimes to the point of looking ridiculous. At Juve he was even worse, and was made look like a fool when Allegri reached the final of the cl despite what Conte said ("you can't eat at a 100 euros restaurant with only 10 euros" or something like that).

>You gonna get sacked.jpg
>>
>>77387148
If he doesn't get the players he want, I expect him to, yeah. The problem is, he's actually awful at knowing what players he needs.

Take Cuadrado, Juve not buying him was (apparently) the main reason why he left. He comes at Chelsea, Cuadrado is shipped out because Conte realized that he was not good enough.
>>
Besides Kane, who are Spurs' 1st team regulars that graduated from their academy?
>>
>>77387187
>Cuadrado is shipped out because Conte realized that he was not good enough.

Conte publicly said he wanted to keep him, which makes aense because he always knew it was likely he would change the team at one point to a 3 man defence and would need someone to play RWB. Cuadrado wanted to go to Juve and Juve wanted him. Simple as that

Danilo, even if he was shite for Madrid, was a smart enough acquisition for City. Can cover Left and Right back due to his two footedness, so less money had to be spent on two separate fullbacks. Paul Verhaegh seven-year Augsburg career could come to an end shortly after the Bundesliga club confirm they’ve received an offer for the 33-year-old. Could be what Man Utd need: an older player to allow Martial to grow into his own. I guess Mourinho is counting on the players that were at the club before this summer to step up. That's reasonable, since Mata, Martial, Mkhitaryan and Pogba are talented players.
>>
>>77392840
I think people overstate the amount of games Chelsea will have to play compared to last season. On the other hand, Chelsea are one bad injury away from being screwed in midfield and wingbacks, and the defence is not looking good.

I mean, in midfield I rate Pasalic so I am not worried, my worries is seeing Moses as left wingback again and, even more, other teams realizing Chelsea can't defend for shit.
>>
A signing that seems to suit all parties involved. Chelsea fans, while aware of his faults, will no doubt know the risk of strengthening a direct rival (again!). But if the funds are adequately spent elsewhere (i.e. Alex Sandro), I think it'll be a good deal for everyone.

A midfield trio of Matic, Herrera and Pogba looks pretty powerful to me. Might just be good enough to challenge for the title this year.

Very true. I have no doubt that Chelsea would be in for him if we he had come up through another club's youth system.

Tenacious, strong in the tackle, composed on the ball and a very decent passer. Literally the checklist for a top level CB and the club let him go just because Conte wanted a shiny new toy (Rudiger). Bournemouth broke their transfer record just to sign him. The last time that happened was with Lukaku and look how he turned out. Honourable mentions to KdB as well.

The worst thing is that it seems Chelsea find it impossible to learn from their mistakes. I genuinely believe that if there was Messi coming up through the academy the club would have destroyed him with loans/sold him for peanuts.

Chelsea, if they want youth to break through the first team that is, need to seriously change how they work.

Why recall Akè? Why not reward him for how good he played against Spurs?

Why waste resources and time on Pato and Falcao instead of letting Traore play?

Why so many loans where the kid doesn't get play time? I was looking at Delac since someone mentioned him, he had 3 or 4 loans with 1 or 0 games. Why? what was the point?

The youth should be used to fix holes in the team, and Chelsea youth should be good enough for that, instead of doing stupid things like Moses as left wingback, Hazard as striker.

League only? As much as I'd like it to happen I can't see the goal tally shooting up from 60 ish to 90 or 100 after one summer. I'm worried that Mourinho might be banking on every player to improve their goal tallies which would be disastrous if it fails.

mata has scored 10 goals in the pl once

Thats all going well

After all, he was supposed to be a Roy Keane replacement at united.

He is going crazy at the Matic signing.
>>
>>77394475
why is he upset about a lineup for a friendly
>>
>>77394504
Idk. He wants the youth to play but the whole team will be changed in the second half. Doesn't make any sense.
>>
>>77394530
i'm not sure why he's getting so worked up about signing matic

i mean he's not amazing and the price is ludicrous but he's won the league twice since united last did

120m pounds is a lot of money for a 29 years old DM.
>>
>>77394655
>120m pounds
apparently it's closer to 140m, either way they're paying far too much
>>
>>77394597
He wants dynamism in the midfield. I don't see why that's especially
important in a DM though.

Jesus christ, what is this guys problem
>>
>>77394292

Rashford beefed up and looks more of a threat. Lingard is always good for a couple. Mata will get some tap ins. Mkhi will put around 10. Martial in the 60 minutes he gets to play all season will score a few. Ibra will get some if he is still there. Jones will get a few own goals.

>minutes later tells people who don't agree with him to fuck off
