On 26 December 1999, Chelsea became the first British team to field an all-foreign starting XI. It was a Premier League Match against Southampton at the Dell, with Chelsea Coach Gianluca Vialli fielding: Ed De Goey (Netherlands), Albert Ferrer (Spain), Frank Leboeuf (France), Emerson Thome (Brazil), Dan Petrescu (Romania), Celestine Babyaro (Nigeria), Gus Poyet (Uruguay), Didier Deschamps (France), Roberto Di Matteo (Italy), Gabriele Ambrosetti (Italy), and Tore André Flo (Norway)

Guinness World Records has Arsenal as the record though.

The squad selected for the match by Arsenal (UK) against Crystal Palace (UK) on 14 February 2005, was the first all-foreign line-up to play in an English Premier League match. The squad consisted of Jens Lehmann (Germany), Lauren (Cameroon), Kolo Toure (Ivory Coast), Pascal Cygan (France), Gael Clichy (France), Robert Pires (France), Patrick Vieira (France), Edu (Brazil), Jose-Antonio Reyes (Spain), Dennis Bergkamp (Netherlands), Thierry Henry (France). Subs: Manuel Almunia (Spain), Philippe Senderos (Switzerland), Cesc Fabregas (Spain), Mathieu Flamini (France), Robin Van Persie (Netherlands). The Gunners won the match 5-1.

You need to have a certain number of English players in the squad at all times. The fact that they aren't key members shows you how much he 'rates' them.
Arsenal are known under Arsene wenger for playing pretty attacking football, none of those players are known for any of that.

Vermaelen was a mistake but at the time he had a vidic like following from the arsecucks who called him the iceman or some poofy shit. Arteta was probably the best option in that team since the rest where complete faggots

English captain is ok for marketing purpose, but you need to get rid english talent if you want big boy trophy.

Why would you even pick a captain that doesn't have any association with the club or area for over a decade at least?
Club captains used to mean something, they're meant to represent the values and traditions of the club.
Now they just pick the oldest player in the squad who's been around the longest....

Quite looking forward to seeing Arsenal and Milan in the Europa League final. It's becoming a good competition but it won't hit the height of the old UEFA Cup unless it's moved back to Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Make them 17:00 kickoffs before the CL games. That way all the clubs can take the tournament seriously.

I keep on hearing the chink has sacked me but they wont replace me just yet. I have laughed when they look so slant eyed and talk about my son being scum. That joke about Eiffel Tower gave me real fits. I am down on whores and I shant quit buying them for my son them till they do eat shit. Grand work the last job was. James gave the lady no time to rim him. How can they sack me now. I love my work and want to start again. You will soon hear of me with my funny little transfers. I saved some of the clubs funds in a bottle over the last window to spend with but it went to Robert Huth and its been wasted. Mediocre Japanese strikers are enough I hope ha. ha. The next match I manage I shall rip the linesmans ears off and send to the referee just for jolly wouldn't you. Keep this letter back till I do a bit more work, then give it out straight. My football brains so nice and sharp I want to get to work right away if I get a chance. Good Luck. Yours truly

It's been a subject I've always found interesting honestly. But no, the earth is not flat. No planet or star is. Our planet could not support the weight of our planet evenly if it were flat. It's weight would be distributed unevenly, our gravity would be fucked up, and also our atmosphere wouldnt provide us with proper air to breath because the gravitational pull would be all fucked up. Also the sun and moon wouldn't be able to do their jobs for our planet. Some spots would always be dark because there's no light from the sun, our planet would be uninhabitable if it were flat

Oh. Also, there has to be a core in our planet. Russia proved this once by digging the deepest man made hole. The drill burned up and failed once it got to a certain point. It's too hot that close to the earths crust for any human or machinery to work. I forget how deep that hole went, but it was roughly 2 feet in diameter and it's covered so no human could fit in it. So tell us kind intelligent anon, what exactly do you know about mass and energy other than Einsteins theory of relativity linking them both which is considered one of the single most important discoveries of the last century?
>Why would anywhere else in the universe not obey the basic principles of mass and energy too?
Why would it?
Everything you know about the universe/planet basically results from your own personal observations and understandings. Go on the moon and gravity works differently, go to a different planet and almost everything you consider normal would change again.
Is it so hard to imagine that if you go far enough outside your universe to yet unobservable parts of the universe that physics would behave differently?
>>
Let's talk about energy
Why don't we use electricity more? Nikola Tesla proved that the earth has a naturally flowing electric current, how come we can't harness it? Why do electric companies charge so fucking much for something thats nearly infinite?
>>
>>77366566
Entanglement is more ridiculous, coupled particles can both change state instantly despite being miles apart.
>>
>>77366687
maybe they had a chat beforehand and decided it would be really funny to sp00k some physicers
>>
>>77366566
>we change the rules of light
You don't change the rules you stupid fuck. There aren't any 'rules' just observations and accepted principles, as soon as someone discovers something different and proves it that then becomes the accepted principle.
That's what science is.

>>77366644
>Why don't we use electricity more
We use electricity for almost every single facet of life. It just so happens that the easiest and cheapest way to produce electricity is to burn fossil fuels in a generator.
>The earth has a natural flowing electric current
So do humans and gnats. That doesn't actually mean it'll power anything worthwhile.
Again the cheapest way to make electricity is to burn fossil fuels that you dig out of the ground.

Except we also have a gazillion other methods of doing the same thing. Such as hydraulic friction energy, we can easily harness that and have electricity
I'm in a trade school for automotive, so this is interesting to me
Solar panels are a thing and actually work so well that electric companies have to pay you because you're providing energy for them
We can also harness wind
>>
>>77366644

Tesla found the right frequency to tap into "empty space" space not been empty, a part of space the size of a grain of rice having more than enough hiden engery in it to destroy our galaxy. A dangerous concept but harnessed and no one would have to pay for shit ever again. The people using the money to keep us under them would not like that.
>>
>>77366796
I don't think you understand the meaning of cheapest and easiest....

You can also create a simple bike generator and make your own electricity.
This doesn't mean that it's more effective than paying a power company who works off a steam generator powered by coal/petrol.

Also do you know how fucking much it costs to build a hydro dam?
>Solar panels are a thing that work well
EXPENSIVE UPFRONT COST DOESN'T WORK 50% OF THE TIME (NIGHT)

I mean I get that, but it's been proven that it's bad for our atmosphere. Surely we can come up with an alternate method by now.

For example, look at a simple 12.6 volt car battery. If you hook up an alternator to it, the alternator has copper coils in it and magnets to convert that DC voltage to like 50,000 volts AC voltage. How come we can take that concept and put it to a bigger scale and make an alternator that can power a house using a HV battery? Granted it might cost a little more to maintain that, but I'm sure we could still make it work

You're forgetting about electrical current. The other important part of of electrical energy.
High voltage =/= more eletrical energy. Voltage is just one component.
The main reason for High Voltage is to avoid energy losses through transmission. Stepping up and down of electrical voltage is mainly to avoid these losses without using super fucking thick cables.
This and you're forgetting the fact that the source of power for the alternator is burning fucking fossil fuels that drives the drivetrain and cranks the alternator.
Dumb dumb.
Shifting the Voltage up and down doesn't increase or decrease the amount of electrical energy transmitted, In fact all transformers have about 1-2% loss in energy from the process of stepping up/down.
>>
>>77366950
You do realise what you're describing is a fucking rudimentary electrical generator right?

>Burn fossil fuels to crank an alternator which then feeds into the house at an acceptable voltage for your appliances to use.

How his "death ray" actually worked is way beyond me. But their is claim that a Japanese guy recreated it and was killed by the yakuza not long after. I cannot remeber any of the names, but this guy wss considered the smartest japanese to ever live, think this was late 90's erly 20's and he ended up joning some fucked up cult, like a jap scientology and it rinsed its members for all their money. The leader was a mad fuck death cult type of guy. And he got big IQ jap guy to head and run a weapons development programs with all his ill goten gains.

They did their testing in the Australian outback and its believed he made smothering very simier to Teslas Death Ray befor been assassinated during a live TV interview by the Yakuza.
