Roma and Inter are playing Atalanta and Fiorentina who have sold a lot of players this year so they have it pretty easy either way.
>>
>>77326830
horrible defence
cheillini was unironically the only good defender
dybala was the best as always
his decision was bad sometimes
cuadrado played better than vs barcelona
asamaoh was horrible as usual
marchisio played as #10 replacing dybala
couldn't see much of him playing as #10 since jj was practically almost always in defence
QUALITY cross from desciglio
>>
>>77327387
Wasn't like Mandragora playing as a defender? There wasn't even Rugani I think, and that's gonna be the starting duo with Chiellini.

yes
in the second half the back four were desciglio-barzagli-mandragora-asamoah with pinsoglio as the goalie. the result was really really horrible. zero teamwork and everybody's positionings were off point. the goalie did some some saves though.
i am worried for the subtitutes of the first team.
the quality of first team members and the subtitutes are too far away especially for the defence.

Why? They wont win the league so they might actually try win something immediately. It would laso help theyr ranking for when they join CL since it's pretty bad right now
>>
>>77330554
He's probably thinking that Milan should focus on qualifying for the CL through the league or possibly try for scudetto. Competing in 2 fronts might be too hard for this team so I can get what he's thinking.
>>
>>77330482
he should just play with the subs and the youngsters tbf
>>
>>77330554
season ends in may and wasting too much efforts at its beginning (early August, one whole month before the league starts) and every tuesday during the middle of the week might be dangerous for a team that must qualify for the CL at all costs

you can still qualify for CL winning the EL
i think they should put effort untill the RO16 and then see how the the situation in the league and EL is

Craiova had A LOT of more training, like a whole month more than Milan, if you ever plaid football you'd now how much this influnces performances
Milan won, hit the post once and they parked the bus the whole first half. They didn't concede any real chances aside from that Montolivo blunder. At the end of the game they were pretty shaky because they were evidently gassed and still din't conced any real chances.
I don't know what's there to complain, all things considered they did ok, nothing more, nothing less
>>
>>77334209
Are you serious? It's midsummer ffs. Every team, and I mean ALL of them, needs to be at their best physically during the second half of the season? Do you really expect them to crush everyone this early? Not to mention all the new players who are knowing each others only this year.
And I say this as a non milanista. Jesus you manage to disagree with literally anyone, milanisti or not

Boring playstyle
They never challage for higher postions or battle for relegation always confortably safe unremarkable seasons

They actually barely change players at all, in fact they have the oldest team with an averga of like 32

They have no real ultras so they get no respect. The first year in Serie A was great, but then they became traditionally solid and and achieved to stay in the league through a defensive play. I would not say their games are boring, I would call them "tactically challenging". Howewer that's not true since Maran is the coach. He's really underrated and if you watch his Chievo, even if you don't catch with the eye any joga bonito, you can enjoy a good structured game.

I think the shittiest squad over there is Crotone, as the top is Napoli.

I hope Benevento and Spal will stay in the league, but who knows? There will be a nice fight.

This.

18 teams would be perfect for Serie A.

Serie B 18 or max. 20 teams.

And the third league should be one league instead of three, with 20 teams. And the youth teams play with the professionals and can get up to the third league.

4th league can then be split up in 3 or 4 leagues.

That's how i would love to see it. The current system is complete shit to be desu senpai.

>“They are spending, or at least making some significant down-payments, for players and they’re going to have to pay the piper at some point down the road.

I chuckled when he threw shade at Sabatini (saying it's beautiful how Sabatini and Spalletti are both at Inter now even though Sabatini didn't want the bald faggot at Roma)
>>
“We started with Spalletti and I could see a couple of years ago that what Garcia had done well the year before, he for whatever reason decided to do it differently and the guys were not even in physical shape, let alone football shape.

“There were even complaints from some of the guys that they’d never been in worse shape, which is kind of amazing, because for them to be saying that… I asked a couple of friends of mine who I trust in the football world and Luciano’s name kept coming up.

“We were lucky enough to have him come in midway with 18-19 games left in the season. He lost the opener to Juventus, then went undefeated for the next 17 games.”

Pallotta reserved some of his most vitriolic comments for Sabatini, who is now working at Suning Group for Inter.

“The change that I really thought had to be made was I had lost a lot of confidence after the first couple of years in my football director. Just the type of players we were buying, a whole bunch of things. The first couple of years were great, but we should’ve been building on that and he was just continuing to make trades.

“So stupid me, sitting around last August talking to Franco Baldini, and I said we’ve got to get another sporting director. I asked what about this guy Monchi? Baldini said he probably wasn’t going anywhere, he was at Sevilla, but he’d make a phone call.

“It turned out, Monchi wanted to talk to me! It turned out he wanted to leave, he and I had some secret meetings and we hit it off right off the bat. We were lucky enough to get him when everyone else wanted him for significantly more money. In two months he’s been a godsend.”

i love this man

>Fassone: "Then the threats, if they were really threats, have been sent back to their sender [Pallotta]."
>Fassone: "I don't know how can he think that Milan's salaries can tomorrow be equal to the revenues."
>Fassone: "The level of debt of the club is €120m. Compared to club revenues it is extraordinary and is better than that of Roma."

>In an extraordinary interview last night, the Giallorossi patron hit out at Milan, Rudi Garcia and other, but reserved perhaps his most stinging criticism for the former sporting director.
>“I’ve always admired the genius of the Roma President, James Pallotta,” Sabatini said in a phone interview with ANSA.
>“That was reconfirmed when he decided to accept my resignation in September, and not in May when I offered it to him.
>“Despite the distrust which Pallotta complains about today, I therefore had to complete the transfer campaign and luckily enough for him my team got 87 points in the league and secured €120m in revenue on June 30, allowing him to have an exciting summer, as evidenced by the opinions he’s expressed about things and people.”

It's funny how here in Mexico everyome (in the press) were fucking hyped up that Vangioni and Honda ended up in Mexican teams. They only heard Milan and they thought they were signing some kind of Maldini or Kakà.

Only sensible guy was Barak Fever of ESPN which stated that, altough from Milan he didn't even play more than 2 games last season, that he isn't regular, but he will be a good addition to our league nevertheless.

>>77347396
dude it's THE FIRST MATCH OF THE SEASON, give Montella a break, if november comes and he still is subpar, then you can crucify him.

People have given you reasonable explanation on why this shouldn't worry anyone (Montolivo, transfers still getting accostumed to the team) but you don't want to hear them.
You are blaming Montella for playing/ keeping Borini and Niang but we literally don't have any winger left. Silva was horrendous in the several minutes he played.

On the other side there were plenty of things worth rescuing on that match.

1)Kessie is a beast.
2)Mussachio will challenge Romagnoli for a spot
3) Cutrone
4) Milan finally have a left back

It's not like Szczesny is some top class keeper. Alisson isn't all that bad and they've got Skorupski as well. Oh, and my favourite, Lobont

How shit do you have to be for Mandzukic to dribble pass through you?

This is going to be a long season with a shit goalkeeper and a mediocre defense.

Did Fiorentina buy anybody? They lost half their team.

Pioli is literally the best thing they've done so far.

it's not even that. Pallotta and co are in this only to build the stadium and all the stuff around it. It's always been clear with everyone with a brain and now Pallotta said outright that if they won't let him build all that shit then he's gonna sell Roma

They're a lovely club with a good history, probably the friendliest fans in Italy (I think because they have no city rival) and if somebody doesn't do something soon they're going to suffer back to back relegations.

For those who will not follow the link

>Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini said he’s selling Kyle Lafferty to Norwich because “he’s an out-of-control womaniser.”

>Northern Ireland international Lafferty was instrumental in Palermo’s promotion campaign from Serie B this season, but is on the verge of a move to Norwich.

>“Lafferty is sold as a result of a precise request from my Coach Beppe Iachini,” President Zamparini told Radio 24.

>“He is an out-of-control womaniser, an Irishman without rules. He is someone who disappears for a week and goes on the hunt for women in Milan.

>“He has two families with six children, he never trains, he’s completely off the rails. On the field he’s a great player, because he gave us everything he had and more.

>“In terms of his behaviour, however, he is uncontrollable. My Coach told me he cannot sort this player out, so he has to go.”
