This is literally true though, Iniesta has had the luxury, season after season, of being able to just stay hidden and not do anything for long stretches of the season knowing that Messi would save the day. He's not a player who can carry the team a whole season, that's why he's been at his best with Spain in the WC or the Euro, because it's a short tournament when he has to be 100% and can't rely on Messi.
