And that D10 ends Round 2 and saw the undercard matches be far superior affairs to the main events.

Alan Norris came through a phenomenal fixture that nearly went to sudden death as Dave Chisnall's fifth successive quarter final hopes disappeared in a chaotic 26 legs. Dim Dave went 2-0 ahead but Chuck pulled it back to 2-2 before Shanghai on 20s and a sensational 126 to go two ahead. In a fixture that saw a total of 44 missed finishes, Chizz punished a string of Norris failures for 5 straight. It was the simpleton's time to fail as he then missed multiple leg darts for 4 straight by Norris, ending with a nice 110. The inconsistency continued past 10-10; Chizz hit 121 for a 11-10 lead but never had a dart for the match as Norris won with a 109 to break and a 100 for the victory.

Rob Cross demonstrated why he is truly the next big thing in darts as he forced Adrian Lewis to produce his best darts outside of Ally Pally in a very long time. Snackpot went back and forth with the newcomer, hitting a wonderful 144 for 5-3 and needed a string of last dart finishes to keep his opponent at bay and threw in a 121 for measure at 8-7. A single miss at D16 for Rob for 9-9 ended his wonderful debut as his 104 average and 57% checkout rate somehow wasn't enough.

"El Dartico" was unsurprisingly utter shit with Raymond van Barneveld bending over for his Lord and Master Phil Taylor. Barney was disinterested and ineffective all the way through, with just a 21% finishing rate. Pheel averaged 102 and 50% but was under zero pressure.

Michael van Gerwen was also under zero pressure as Simon Whitlock ruined all his recent hard work with a display of poor decision making, gifting B-Game MVG numerous legs and only won three. Autism will need to improve though to end Taylel.

The length increases tomorrow with the quarter-finals being the best of 31: 16 legs the new winning line in these two matches:
