Can we make a rule if you aren't on the Rooney bandwagon now you aren't allowed to jump on it once the season starts?

Last time he was in the Prem he was shit, so I doubt he'll be any better this time around.

>>77313638
Quite like that to be fair
>>77313638
Personally I would swap out Benteke for either Defoe for Firmino (.5 million more). I just can't see him being anything outside of average this season.
This is mine btw, spending all your money on strikers ftw.

t. newcastle fan
You unironically need to get Pogba. He created a metric shitload of chances last year and Ibra wasted them because he was shite, provided Lukaku doesn't become shit overnight that's gonna be a lot of assists for 8.0m.

Lascelles and Dummett are the only nailed on starters in Newcastle's back four right now, but Lascelles is nursing and injury and we're trying to bring a new left-back in before the season starts to replace Dummett

>>77330372
>Kane in September
I have a feeling this year he will hit the ground running. Think about it: is Harry Kane the kind of person/personality to accept a shortcoming that has been "established" in his game? Or will he be working harder than ever to overcome it, and start off the season scoring goals, proving his doubters wrong yet again?

Otherwise your team is alright. Kane, KDB, Trippier, Cedric, Tadic, and Foster are all good choices. Lacazette may be great, but he's still a bit of a risk. I'm a big fan of Eriksen but Alli scores more goals and everyone has him so he might be the better option right now.
>>77334579
Why the fuck would you have Aguero AND Jesus? Only one will play
Why the fuck would you have 2 West Brom defenders and a West Brom keeper? West Brom concede 1 goal and your entire defence is wasted.
>>77334815
>Aguero AND Jesus? Only one will play
I actually think they'll both be starting, at least until the Champions League kicks in (and then I can transfer one out)
>2 West Brom defenders and a West Brom keeper? West Brom concede 1 goal and your entire defence is wasted

Wells is a punt, but he won't start for me and he's only 5.0 and played nearly every game for Hudds last season and scored 11
Can't make my mind up. Please help.
Made a bunch of changes to what I originally had.
I think this is good for the beginning of the season because it spreads around to forwards/midfielders from all the top 6 clubs besides spurs, and leaves 1 mil in the bank for easier transfers when I play the wildcard chip after the beginning of the season settles.

>>77345720
Only criticism is that surely you can get a better defender than Otamendi. Other than that, I really like this team
>>77345651
Bottom right for me. If you're sure you want a trash bench then you've got a first 11 with pretty decent opening fixtures and pretty solid (as long as they play). My only concerns:
>Abraham
Is he worth it?
>Spurs x3, Man U x2, Southampton x3
If you have fixture clashes it might get a bit messy.
>>77345720
Not sure what to make of this. You've selected a good first 11 (in terms of ability to get points) but:
>will Sane, Mirallas, Willian, Otamendi be guaranteed starters?
I can see you ending up having to use your bench and dropping points.
>>77345479
Good chance Wells isn't even at Huddersfield next season. No chance of being first choice
>>77345759
>>Abraham
>Is he worth it?
Probably not but I can't find a better striker for 5.5. Solanke is 5.0 but I don't see him starting any more games than Abraham
>>77345651
Bottom left
Firmino, yes or no?
Opinions?
>>77345819
Forwards and midfield good. Remove Alonso ad upgrade defense.
>>77345651
tl;dr
>>77345759
>>77345755
I see where the aversion towards Otamendi comes from, but in my opnion the only better CB Man City have is Kompany. Otamendi would only have to get the nod above John Stones and Mangala (he's much better than the both), and Kompany is usually injured anyways. I can see him being a solid fixture in a tight defense this season. Lots of Clean Sheets. Generally, as a strategy, I like to go for defenders who might not be so great, but are in a great team and start.
>>77345759
>Willian
Pedro is right now injured, so Willian should definitely get the start.
>Sane
A worry. I could always swap out Mirrallas for someone lower priced and stick in De Bruyne.
>Mirallas
As I said, I could swap him out. Have any advice on a 5.0-6.0 mid?
lmao@everyone buying Yedlin when he isn't a guaranteed starter
>>77345819
I guess the way i'd think of it... Who are your guaranteed points-men in all positions? A large chunk of your buys seem optimistic (whether it be through bargains or uncertain playtime, i.e., Mkhitaryan)
>Kane, De Bruyne, Eriksen
Definitely
>Mkhitaryan, Gayle, Morata, Alonso, Trippier, Forster
Likely
>Mooy, Mesa, Yedlin, Rosenior, Rangel
Uncertain
>>77345908
>Morata
>Likely
He'll be Chelsea's main striker once they sell Costa
>>77345896
>Mirallas As I said, I could swap him out. Have any advice on a 5.0-6.0 mid?
Redmond is a tad more expensive but has great starting fixtures in comparison to Everton
>Otamendi
Not necessarily against him but City's defence was a bit shakey last season, then again same could be said for a lot of selections in Lindelof. Monreal and Cedric. He might pay off for you in that respect and City have a decent start to the season.
>>77345930
He is a quality player and I can see him bagging goals this season but he might need some time to adjust. That and 5/7 of Chelsea's opening games could be minimal in goals.
>>77345979
>Redmond
The problem is with him and Tadic they're always sold as good FPL options but generally aren't that good. You're right about the starting fixtures though. Everton's get really hard after the first week, the Saints have it pretty easy.
>>77346004
I agree, neither are going to set the league on fire. I'm picking Redmond on the basis that he had a decent return last season and hopefully the Saints will be more settled this season. Also, at 6.5 he, like Mirallas, is definitely one of the better midfielders return-wise outside of the ones that are like to set you back 7+ without much difference in net gain (based on last season). It's that combination of price and fixtures which makes him a decent punt at the start of the season as opposed to Mirallas who isn't necessarily getting game time and has shit fixtures.
>>77346143
Right. I think Townsend on Palace is a decent alternative as well.
got the head 2 head league. Wtf is the code for classic leage?
Thoughts about Alonso and Milner?
Sure they are expensive, but I dont see any midfielders in the same price range with a better potential for points except for maybe Willian while Hazard is injured.
>R8

>>77349117

Fabianski is an odd pick, Everton have a load of tough fixtures coming up. Bournemouth, thus Daniels, might be okay this season, they also might not. Sigurdsson has transfer speculation, so he could be shaky, and Capoue doesn't actually score that much. The front line is good though.
