No team should go through the playoffs undefeated if multiple games are played in a series. All the other teams are just cannon fodder for the super teams.
Hockey is growing in the Sunbelt and it's not only because of playoff runs. The teams are building public rinks, inspiring high schools to get teams, and starting youth leauges. The ground up approach is making sure hockey is growing and building a /lifelong/ fan base.

Impartial observer here. desu, the best solution here isn't to expand, it's to relocate the Clippers to Seattle.

the Clippers sole purpose is to provide cheaper seats to NBA games for Lakers fans/LA denizens. The Clippers are bottom 5 in terms of team merch sales.They will never be the Lakers equals or rivals.
