Hmmm...but home games attendance has increased every year from 2011 to 2016.
Average attendance in 2016 was 103.1% of capacity (don't ask me how that works, but that's the fact). Doesn't sound like abandonment to me.

Sonics attendance was pretty consistent and average until 2008 when everyone knew they were leaving, so why would anyone bother supporting them, really?
