Who are you sweating and why is it Hesp?
>>
Hesp or sinclair. Became a fan of sinclair after his J4 off punt on day 7. Tbh anyone but Salas tho
>>
That first hand with Hesp, King 9 off raise on the flop as a bluff lmao. He's been running hot too
>>
Also Antonio is a great commentator to listen to
>>
Not a sport.
>>
Everyone just playing tight and waiting for Hesp to do something stupid, too bad he is getting smashed by the deck
>>
>>77230871
Shut the fuck up new zealand cuck, we have a thread every year for final table
>>
Really wish Ruanne could have made back to back Final tables. Really enjoyable to watch him during the main.
>>

>>
>>77230934

>>

>>
Honestly thought blumstein was about to hit one of those outs. I like the shove though
>>
>>77231030
Oh I thought the gook you were talking about was Pham, Qui busted on day 2 I think.
>>
>>77231063

I uses to go 2-3 times a week for at least 3 hour but slowing down lately to once every other week. The first big drop was me attempting 15-30 limit
>>
I keep hoping someone wakes up with a hand and busts Salas. Some day I hope ill find something as interesting as he finds Q2 off in the small blind

Hesp thought that he was bluffing the obvious straight
>>
>>77231925
Terrible call. I would have snap folded river
>>
How do you not call those 4's
>>
Hesp is tilting and steam raising, not looking good. I think he will be lucky to get to heads up
>>
>>77231651
217 central Illinois native here. I usually go to Lumiere because it's the closest. I do enjoy Ameristar. Haven't played Poker at Hollywood or Ameristar. I've never played in a tourney before. What do the tournaments run at Ameristar and Hollywood?
>>
Easy call with 4's what the hell?
>>

>>
>hesp

Holy fuck what a donkey
>>
How to punt off chips 101, what the fuck Hesp. Clear call right there, not a shove...still behind pocket 7's
>>
Old people cant fold
>>
ya blew it
>>
Hesp just got BLUMMED
>>
EPIC PUNT
>>
The Hesp blew a 3-1 chip lead
>>
Hesp got hosed. What a flop and then that turn. Poor guy.
>>
>>77232102

He had a hand that did not deserve to go all in. I don't feel sorry for idiocy.
>>
>>77232116

He didn't, but still a crazy board. Impossible for a player like him to get away from.
>>
>>77232116
This. You're only getting called by better. There are essentially no combos your opponent is bluffing with there. I'd be more worried about pocket 7's in that situation. Calling was the right choice. Fucking amateur
>>
stream?
>>
I can't get over what a bad shove that was. He just donked off like 80 million in chips. He must have been tilted still from that previous hand
>>
>>77232116
Top 2 on a dry board like that, should have kept playing his style and called down like he does.
>>
That queens hand from hesp earlier is tilting
>>
Now Blumstein is calling pocket 4s
>>

limiting losing sessions is practically as important as winning

probably gotta learn to walk away when you're off you're A game whether from taking a bad beat or misplaying a hand

Ruane from last year had another really deep run.
>>
>>77232227
November 9er last year Michael Ruane made it to 10th

Other big names that ran super deep are Dario Sammartino, Max Silver, Marcel Luske, two+two legend and last year November 9er Kenny Hallaert

This was the sickest hand of the tournament though:

>>
>>77232267
fuck I forgot Connor Drinan and Charlie Carrell too. I was rooting for Carrell big time but he ran kings into aces

>>
>>77232340
How do you mean?
>>
>>77232223
>>77232239
How do i avoid tilt lads
>>
>>77232347
less turnaround time putting the marathon final table sessions right after the regular days
>>
>>77232355
That's how it should be desu

I actually think the shorter turnaround favours Hesp because the other guys don't have as much time to watch his tapes and study his tells which there will be A LOT of considering how inexperienced he is and how vocal he is during hands. That seems to be out the window now with him being short-stacked, but in theory I'd say that's it
>>
>>77232384
Makes it even more crazy that Qui Nguyen was able to win last year

>>

Not sure, my room mate was watching it on his xbone.

Also thoughts on checking back 52 on that board? Probably thought Hesp would jam if he bet so better just save the chips.
>>
>>77232020

Nope. Not sure why.
>>
>>77232537
dumped it because it's 2017
>>
Pollack is the only one trying to play poker
>>
>>77232553

I think he will win this thing.
>>
>>77232537
They are getting rid of it, but haven't given a reason why. Part of it is that it isn't November every 4 years when the US has it's Presidential Election.
>>
>>77232540
gotta play it safe considering the stack and pay jump implications

another scare card to Hesp but what would the other dude be repping now that he wouldnt have already bet. hesp blocking a lot of the T9 combos too
>>
>>77232559
He is clearly the best player left and the only one trying to make moves. Blumstein will punt somehow
>>
>>77232561
With pokergo providing live coverage everyday there is no need to delay it for the ESPN coverage
>>
>tfw want to play main event
>wouldnt want friends and family around
>would probably luckbox a way to a deep run
>everyone creates memes about how autistic and weird it is
>>
>>77232565
Im not sure if hesp knows what blockers are lol
>>
>>77232577
all on the same boat
>>
>>77232573
$.50 has been deposited into your bank account.

But actually there's a point here. Pokergo isn't great, but their main event coverage has been satisfactory. It's just sad that neither them nor ESPN would cover the last level of days 1-4. We didn't get to see the money bubble burst. Just wish they would share the stream with ESPN rather than switch off. I love Ali and Schulman's commentary.
>>
>>77232599
I just wish they showed coverage after the dinner breaks
>>
>>77232606
That's what I was getting at. BS they wouldn't at least show the money bubble bursting on day 3.
>>
HOLY NIT folding AJ on the button. Just pay these losers out already if they are gunna do this
>>
>>77232616
here we go boys
>>
LUCKBOX
>>
Calling it a night with 80 hands?
>>
See you tomorrow night lads
>>
>>77232729
y-you too anon
>>
>>77232577
I play for a living and all of my friends have been really supportive - go for it anon
>>
>>77232842

Do you feel as though you are sometimes inclined to make shitty decisions for the fun of it? Do you think it's possible to be a pro poker player if you have addictive tendencies?
>>
>>77232870
In lower buyin tournaments I'm much more likely to make hero calls. Like if a fun player triple barrels me in a $10 MTT I'll be so much more likely to bluff catch than in a $200.

On the second part, I dont know - I play online so theres no draw of going and degening in the pits and I don't really have any desire to gamble. I assume with strict BRM you could make it work.

Pollak will win. The one hand with Ott where he was able to sniff out his river bluff convinced me that he is the best player at the table.

Hesp is just a meme. Go home Grandpa
