No. Every year there are already plenty of second rounders that barely get to play in the NBA.

Look back at the history of the NBA, they used to draft tons of players.1976 for example had 10 rounds and 173 players.

It really should work a lot better than the NBDL. It's just that the salaries in Europe, China and a few other places are so insanely high in comparison to minor league basketball that most players would rather just prove their talent elsewhere and hope to make it in the league. European players have a better chance of making it than players in the "NBA systems" that are in the NBDL

the majority of players drafted in the second half of the second round will never make it more than a year or two in the league, why would you want to add more rounds?
