Manchester United could be set to miss out on Nemanja Matic, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting Juventus are in pole position to sign the Chelsea midfielder

>West Ham are expected to sign Javier Hernandez "in a matter of days", according to Sky sources.

Nice have announced the signing of Christophe Jallet following his departure from Lyon.

>Aston Villa are hoping to complete the transfer of Ahmed Elmohamady from Hull this week, according to Sky sources.

Chelsea have set off on their pre-season tour of China without Nemanja Matic and Diego Costa.

AIOLA SNAPS UP VERATTI

>Mino Raiola has just signed up a new client in the shape of PSG midfielder Marco Verratti.

>The Italy international has been linked with big money move to Barcelona and Man United. The timing of the switch is sure to raise a few eyebrows.

>Veratti has parted company with Donato Di Campli and joined Raiola, who has excellent links with Manchester United after helping them secure the services of Romelu Lukaku, Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan & Sergio Romero in recent times.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he is not in the market for Alexis Sanchez because he already has a pair of dynamite strikers in South American duo Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero.

>Everton defender Ramiro Funes Mori is expected to be out for six to nine months after undergoing knee surgery in Barcelona.

Thomas Müller not for sale, despite interest from Arsenal and Liverpool

>Four Premier League teams are interested in signing Bayern Munich’s Thomas Müller, according to Wednesday’s print edition of Sport Bild. With the arrival of James Rodriguez, it’s not a too far-fetched rumour.

>With Chelsea agreeing terms with Real Madrid over Alvaro Morata, it’s unlikely they’ll now move for the German, but Arsenal, Liverpool and Juventus are all said to be linked.

>Although Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has denied these claims, he’s called for improved performances from Müller, who suffered a less-than-impressive spell under Carlo Ancelotti last season.

>“Both the club and Thomas agree on the assessment of last season – it wasn’t a good one. [But] Thomas is still not for sale because he’s a perfect fit for Bayern. This is not a matter of discussion,” Rummenigge told Sport Bild.

>Given Müller’s importance to Bayern, it’s unlikely they’ll sell unless it’s for a substantial amount. But, never say never in the transfer window.
>>
>>77210078
Not more goals, but I reckon Morata might be a better player for Chelsea overall. Can't say anything yet, but it's just a hunch. Also worth noting Lukaku's stats look a whole lot worse if you take out maybe 2 or 3 games this season. He'll score a lot in one game and then do fuck all for the next 5-10.

>Geoffrey Kondogbia’s agent says “Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have called us” but “if Inter want him we’ll continue”.

>The midfielder has spent the past two seasons with the Nerazzurri, but has been increasingly linked with a move away from San Siro this summer.

>“Almost all of the names which have come out are true,” brother and agent Evans Kondogbia told Tuttomercatoweb.

>“Geoffrey is a great player and it’s normal that there are so many teams after him. Offers are never lacking, and they’re still there.

>“I can rule out Valencia, there’s nothing with them.

>“I’ll repeat though, so many of the clubs who have been linked with Geoffrey are real, so even PSG and Barça have called us, but nothing more.

>“It was just to talk, ‘how is the lad?’.

>“Is he happy at Inter? Absolutely, yes. My brother is fine in Milan, he’s focused and working hard.

>“The chances of him staying? I’d say high, but it’s not just down to us, it also depends on the will of the club.

>“It works like love, like with your partner, you’ll be together if you share it. If Inter want him, we can continue without problems.”

Stop lying about Jeff. No one wants him
>>
>>77210296
i guess he can look a bit clumsy at time given hes 7'2
>>
>>77210221
Yeah, but that's what I'm saying. Morata probably won't score a whole lot, but he'll probably be a good player overall. While Lukaku on the other hand will probably contribute some goals when it doesn't really matter, and a few when it does, while not contributing with anything else on the pitch.

I'll never forget when he tried to steal, and then claim, Davies' goal on his debut against Man City. I don't usually give a fuck when I watch teams I don't really care about, but that has got to be one of the most scummy things I've ever seen on a football pitch. You can call it "strikers instinct" all you like, but that was fucking blatantly him trying to pad his stats. The ball had nearly already crossed the fucking line when he stretched his foot out.

>Neymar has told close friends he's joining PSG, according to Globo Esporte.

The reason Jetro Willems' move to Eintracht Frankfurt has stalled is a disagreement over fee. PSV now want €7m. More tomorrow.

Sky sources understand Glenn Whelan is close to completing a £1.5m move to Aston Villa from Stoke.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has signed a new deal and he wants to celebrate by signing a new left-back.

What the fuck are we basing it on? Messi scored the most goals last year in a league and regularly plays as a direct striker.

1. Messi
2. Suarez
3. Lewandowski
4. Higuain
5. Ronaldo
6. Neymar (if we're pulling the le not job to score goals meme, he's assisting well enough)
7. Dzeko
8. Cavani
9. Sanchez
10. Lukaku

In no particular order as well.

Those are just some players who are better than Kane. The fact Kane can't manage to do shit in Wembley and has a terrible international goal record until the last 2 games, just proves this.

He's 24. He's not a wonderkid. I'm sure he'll be world class eventually, but not now.

Das hier is 'ne Vollgasveranstaltung!" Im nächsten Spiel lief Bender dann 200 Kilometer. Kult-Motivator Kloppo!

Honestly the Neymar transfer makes TOO MUCH sense to actually happen.

Neymar may be the second most marketable player in that front three but he is the biggest passenger in it. Messi and Suarez are much, much better players than Neymar may ever be. No matter what any Brazilian on here tries to tell me, Neymar isn't up to scratch. He's a cut above World Class but the only time I've seen him take control of a game was a Clasico (because Messi was injured) and against PSG. The rest of the time he shits on minnows like 2014-2016 Ronaldo.

Getting that much dosh and freeing up some room on the wage bill would also allow for Barca to replace Neymar with a world class player (especially because they are a big club with no "premier league tax" just "big club tax") and fix part of the midfield. I would say buy a centreback as well but they won't throw either Ummmmmtitties or Pique under the bus just yet and they just signed an unknown in Semedo and Alba can be good.

Bubble isn't bursting for a while. Developing nations fucking love football. Whilst those nations are developing the money will only increase. >>77215349
Had a three hour convo with him. Apparently said 'come to us next year and become the new Henry'. But that could have just been total media bollocks. I guess Wonga is hoping Mbappe doesn't do the same shit this season because if he gets 30 goals and 15 assists this year, he'll be £200M I bet.

Honestly I think Wonga is too nice a person. He isn't ruthless. He'll not sign people if he thinks they'll be fucked over somehow. If a player isn't working for him, he'll sell them on to get game time, even if they turn out decent like Gnabry.

Either way, as for Mbappe, he's better off staying at Monaco anyway. He's being hyped up and that has destroyed so many players. Giovani dos Santos, Balotelli and so on.

You can easily short that 50 years to less than half of it. Let's say you sacrifice one of the giant clubs: Manchester United. It's a publicly traded company now. There's hunger for a trophy (check any social media). You keep the fans, supporters and customers in that famine. For at least 2 years, and see what will happen. Yes, Arsenal has shown its robustness, it is still being supported by so many donors which you don't know about, but Manchester United's donors are extremely spoiled. It can happen within two years.

>Also worth noting Lukaku's stats look a whole lot worse if you take out maybe 2 or 3 games this season. He'll score a lot in one game and then do fuck all for the next 5-10.

This can be said about almost every player ever. Lukaku's biggest goal drought lasted 4 matches in the PL last season which is no worse than any other striker in the league apart from Kane (whose longest drought was 3 matches). If you were to remove Lukaku's best 3 games last season, you would take away a maximum of 9 goals. Similarly, if you took away Kane's best 3 games last season, you would take away a maximum of 10 goals. I'm only comparing him to Kane because Lukaku was second to him in the league. My point is, every striker has good runs of form and weaker showings, and overall Lukaku performed quite well especially when you consider he had a weaker team around him than other top strikers in the league.

>That is a contradiction in itself
Not really. Democracy works because people, believing that they have a choice, blame generic "other people" for the political problems.
It's being forced as good simply because they won and get to write history.

It's not inferior at all, it's the most effective system because it works to mitigate the problem of shit leaders which always cripple other government types in the end.

Short term if you've got some genius as supreme ruler things will go well, but it falls apart when he dies and you're worse off than when you started.
