First for Laura
Today is very simular to last Rodez stage were GVA beat 2agan. Although notice that this year there is a almost constant false-flat interupted by the downhill and climb.
This stage can actually be very hard. If you get isolated you can be down shits creek.
We have a more punchy GC than other froome years. I would not be suprised to see Uran and/or Dan martin try and do something. Froome will rely heavy on kwiat today.
>>77133317
btw in 2015 this was also the stage after the pyrenees. it was stage 13 rather than stage 14.
But check out the time gaps Froome had back then. And that year he ended up winning the Tour with 1'14 to Quintana.
>>77133365
He was ill in the final week though.

He didn't want to do the Tour though, they forced him, he wanted to frontman the Vuelta.

60"-90" to Aru imho
>>77133926
It's a very short TT, I'd say about 30 seconds to most frontrunners, maybe 40 to Aru and about a minute to Bardet
>>77133977
He will win it, no doubt. There's a steep hill late in the TT, so only GC can get near him, but he crushes every GC in TT's I'd say at least 1 min.

he's a top level rider, he'd be frontman with any other team, but he chose sky for max bux so sure, he has to put up with some shit like any other gregario
but being actively chased by your own team while on a 50km breakaway when the previous fucking day you got spanked for leaving your captain 200m to the goal line is a bit too much

because
a) you don't race against your teammate
b) you'd end up having two riders seconds from the leader spot, giving you an invaluable edge on anyone else
Aru for example can defend against Froome alone and he proved that yesterday, but if he had to defend against both him and Landa at the same time whie they coordinate their attacks he'd be fucked without a chance

Everyone can be healthy without necessarily a universal healthcare. A nice social system only works if all the people are willing to use it properly and if everyone pays for it. Not the case here. You don't want to pay for everybody, and it doesn't increase anything apart your obligations.

The only way Landa beats Froome in this race is if Froome crashes or dies.

The issue is that it's off-topic. There are popular, politically correct opinions that you can affirm even though it's not directly /TdF/ related, it vivifies the thread and doesn't necessarily influence the global atmosphere. But as soon as it get to "politically incorrect", everyone starts shouting and they create themselves the uncomfiness they're blaming others to bring. The truth hurts. I guess what's important is to not drag out
on this thread which shouldn't be the place for this kind of exchanges.

>>77139300
Simple version: A moto stops at a random point, starts their stop watch and waits for the peloton to pass, you now have the time.
With the automatic GPS-based stuff they probably just measure every 100 meters or something like that.

Froome 446W
Porte 435W
Mollema, Ten Dam, Nieve, Valverde: 411-420W
Froome was with Dan Martin before that and Martin finished 2'34'' behind. He was literally flying this day
I would douse a 1000 watts on Laura. But it would probably only last ½ a lap around her velodrome
Back in the day you had big guys like Indurain and human piggs like Ullrich, now all GC look like pic related, hardly fucking surprising they put out a lot of watts/kg

I was talking about domino actually. I also hate ludo because I've no luck and always get beaten.
>>77139709
Ultra specialization. It's pretty obvious you win a GT in mountains so why would you even think about TT or sprinting? But Froome is on another level of skeleton.
