I train kickboxing for almost 3 years now,but I always wanted to start learning muai that.Some of my friends say that it's really bad for my health if I would go on fights becuse it's full contact.
So I wanted to ask what are the good exercises for toughing up my body and shins.

and there is nothing wrong with untested combat sports training
MT is hard on your lower limbs due to leg kicks, but you can just get numb to them and smart about taking them.
MT is no different from kickboxing, only minor changes in rules and kick popularity at the current time

You should learn to box properly. You will never become rich and famous prize fighter like Floyd with that Chinese shit.
But for an exercise, go spar with boxers. You will get beaten.
Jiu Jitzu is better
