Why have New York sports teams had such a difficult time in the 21st century? Pretty much 2 teams in each major sport, and the last 15 years:
Giants 2011
Yankees 2009
Giants 2007
If the Giants weren't living in Tom Brady's head rent free, they'd only have one championship, and only in the one major US sport without a salary cap. Is it the media/fan pressure? Is it harder to attract top talent to New York? I don't know what it's like being an NYC sports fan, I'm just curious.

Pretty good championship percentage for the city desu, you just hear about them more because espn doesn't recognize any cities outside of the Northeast

No he's right. If you got back to the Yankees winning in 2000, theyve only won 3 titles out of ~112 combined seasons. That's 1 out of 37 seasons. The average team would have roughly 1 in that time span, while the NY teams average less than half a title.

Idk, coincidence probably.

You missed the Nets
You missed the Bills and the nets
Why does it include New Jersey teams? It's like those Brazilians who claim to be Italian.
The stadium not being in new york doesnt mean it isnt a new york team.
Rangers + Knicks failures have been because of disgustingly horrendous management (see James Dolan), Yankees are crawling back as they have the best group of young players/prospects in the MLB, don't care about that other teams.
