People (normally Americans and continentals) will unironically think that, because a player dominates some fucking trash league (normally on the continent) while playing for one of the two good sides in that league then they could do it anyway (ie in the PL). If a player has a good 6 months he's automatically world class and when he's forgotten about by the follow season they pretend they never said he was world class in the first place.
