What ever happened to the heavyweights? It seems that we are more excited than ever to watch manlets fight each other....wtf.
Not many entertaining HW's nowadays
Bunch of flabby fuckers

Heavyweight boxing has been mostly about size less about skill since Lennox Lewis. It's mostly terrible to watch. You only have yourself to blame if you didn't watch Joshua vs Klitschko in April though, wasn't exactly a low-key and was genuinely very good.
most heavyweights now are really superheavyweights, most of the would be 200-220lbs guys it just makes more sense for them to fight at cruiser
superheavyweights for the most part are boring to watch, there are exceptions sure but generally they are just big plodding mammoths, where as the lower classes are able to do all the crazy technical stuff that is impressive to the eye

Plus they get gassed out in 2 mins
Cruiserweights are what heavyweights used to be in terms of skills and fitness. However the top guys are mostly Slavs and Africans so they don't get much publicity.
Joshua vs Klitschko was the best heavyweight fight since Lewis vs Klitschko more than 10 years ago. The heavyweight division is back

nah that was just a once off. It will probably be years before the next great heavyweight fight

Whyte vs Chisora was one of the most exciting fights of last year and Breazeale vs izu ugonoh this year was fun. Heavyweight boxing is about to go through a purple patch and Joshua's brand is going to continue to grow with the Klitschko rematch most likely in Vegas

>mfw this fight is only happening due to Floyd's tax troubles
First of all belt imflation huts HWs the most because in all reality its the only belt that really matters. anything is handicapping anyway.
In the old days people woudl know who the HW champion was but now it's not clear.
And when Klitschko reigned it was so boring that people stopped watching. Then when somebody interesting beats him the sanctioning bodies goes back to their bullshit again and makes fx Charles Martin vs Glazkov a World title which in turn makes Joshua a champion without him beating the man who beat the man.
Much like the pussification of common culture, boxing also because pussified
